My turn...Allright. I’m caught up for about 2 milliseconds.
Off to the oriface. Another day chock full a meetings.
Who’s doing the dishes?
Have you seen where people suspend gutters with capped ends on a fence and plant strawberries in themMrs wonderermadehad me put a few pallets up at one of our customers storefronts.
I thought it was a hare brained idea, and did not love it, but she gets raves all the time when she plants droopy plants in them.
I do not like bitter coffee. I suppose most don't. Thanks for that. I now have a reason to grind my own.Bitter is also a product of how fine is the grind. For French Press, a coarse grind is the best. And less bitter!
Agreed I'm all in favor of that.Hi all... let's work hard finish quick and get to the weekend asap.....
Don’t worry, I keep detailed notes. She been with the agency for over 35 years and knows exactly how the game is played.Ugh! She's your 80/20. Or maybe 95/5!
My advice? Stop walking on eggshells around her. Treat her exactly as you treat everyone else. Even her "close personal friend," the shop steward can't fault you for that. Just ignore the passive-aggressive nonverbal pissed-off-ness and counsel her on any verbal or physical manifestations of pissed-off-ness. ALWAYS have a witness, preferably the aforementioned "close personal friend," the shop steward, if/when you need to counsel her. Keep meticulous notes.
It's a PITA, I know. And, I'm probably not telling you anything you don't know. This kind of narcissistic bullying needs to stop. I'm so sorry!![]()
Don't ever under estimate the English Gentleman and his reaction to somebody who might might take liberties with the beautiful ladies of this bar @Lilianna23Greylag! How very uncharacteristic of you!![]()
I use them for kindling... breaking three at presentToo bad you didn't have an old tank you could use to run over them!![]()
That refers to tea... for goodness sake get your references right.....and pissy tea at that lol
It's why women have handbags like Mary Poppins! My wife has complained about this for years. She’s an outdoor worker and even women jeans and women’s Carharts have smaller pockets.
Then this topic came up with my daughter last night over dinner! WTH? My daughter described it as a women’s pants designer conspiracy.
And big purse! (She’s got a good sense of humor!)
Someone PLEASE make women’s pants w larger pockets!![]()
They do here but we are all Gentlemen! Is it just me, or if you’re driving a gigantic farm tractor going 20 miles an hour, would you pull over occasionally to let the 30 or so cars behind you by?
I guess it’s just me and the 30 or so other people behind the tractor!
Wife is in Pre-op…we said our prayers and goodbyes, so had a minute to log on. Total knee replacement today for her.I hope your cardiologist went over these numbers with you. Here's my 2 cents:
LM = 0. This is EXCELLENT! The left main is called the "widow maker" as it supplies 85% of the heart.
LAD = 298. This is considered moderately calcified and can be concerning. The LAD comes off the LM, runs down the front of the heart, and supplies about 50% of the heart.
Cx = 163. This is considered moderately calcified and can be concerning. The Cx comes off the LM, wraps around the left side, and supplies 25-40% of the heart. It can also supply the sinus node, also called the pacemaker of the heart, in about 30% of the population.
RCA = 59. this is considered mildly calcified. The RCA supplies most of the right side of the heart and the sinus node in up to 70% of the population.
PDA = 0. This is EXCELLENT! The PDA supplies most of the back side of the heart, along with the Cx.
I would say you have a moderate risk of a cardiac event within the next 3-5 years if there are no changes made in your lifestyle. The LAD and Cx combined can supply up to 85% of the heart's blood.
ACV has not been shown in clinical trials to reduce or eliminate calcification. Your best holistic bet is to eat clean, try to stay away from trans fats and highly processed foods. Drink 8-10 glasses of water in addition to other beverages, like coffee. Reduce your stress levels.
Exercise, outdoors, as much as possible. The sun helps our bodies make vitamin D, which can be heart helpful. DO NOT take vitamin D supplements without consulting with your providers. It is a fat soluable vitamin; you could be at risk of overdose if not managed.
Continue to f/u with your cardiologist. S/he may recommend a heart cath. Stents placed in the LAD and Cx can keep those vessels open. A heart cath has a much quicker recovery time, about one day, compared to open heart surgery (weeks).
This is the long-ish answer! I can go into more detail if you need it!![]()
Overall I enjoyed the movie. The premise is a bit shaky, imo, and the main villain is a cartoon. Overall though it did keep me engaged and the plot asked some interesting questions. And yes I'm being super vague to avoid spoilers.Did you like the movie?
Sending you both the best vibes possible.Wife is in Pre-op…we said our prayers and goodbyes, so had a minute to log on. Total knee replacement today for her.
Thanks Lili for the in depth review! That makes me feel a little better…no I lied…a LOT better!. Talked to the nurse yesterday and she immediately put me on low dose aspirin. They also wanted to put me on either Atorvastatin or Rosuvastatin? Any good info on either one of those? The nurse didn’t elaborate much as we spoke over the phone and I basically know what both do. I’ve also been referred to a cardiologist and I asked for my mom’s doc. She likes him and I figure why not keep it in the family? He’ll know our family history pretty well.
So…I guess I get to join the wonderful world of meds. I’ve never been on a continuing med regime…ever…so this is a wake up call. Time to start quading my lutes out in the back yard!
Thanks again Lili. Our resident nurses here are my trusted source of all things medical!. Love y’all!
I’ll leave you with the McCauley Hot Spring at Jemez Springs, NM…have a great day and hopefully get an early start to the weekend!
