Take care, H! Be a good nurse to your wife. Try not to piss her off!I’m going to go out on a limb and say he’s laser focused on the artillery fire! I could be wrong of course. How those horses didn’t bolt at the first salvo of a battery of 12 pounders I’ll never know…
Well, it’s all coming together…momma’s contractors, wife surgery, and now my doc’s orders…when the arty starts to rain down…
Won’t be on much over the next few. Keep the light on for me. I’ll leave a nice Santa Fe MZ…enjoy and talk to y’all soon.
Ahhhh! It's nice to be home!I am home...picked up groceries..
Checked in with the neighbors.... got covered in puppy kisses and white German shepherd dog hair from the snuggles he wanted to give me gonna make dinner, relax and go to bed early....i was up half the night in the hotel.... my neighbor in the next room was LOUD...... and I was right outside the elevator.....
Something, something, silhouette, blah, blah, blah...I don't know why one wouldn't want them. Such handy devices...
Pockets need to be deep enough. About knee level should keep that pesky change from migrating! There is one flaw... Has anyone made pants with a pocket that change doesn't fall out of when sitting? Especially in a car seat.
Try a lanyard. I've seen ones that work with or without a case. I got one that works with a case. It's pink. To go with my pink phone. In its pink case!I have a pair of travel pants that have pockets like that... but my new phone is a brick. Thatfalls out and it really irritates me.
I felt this so many times!
Did you like the movie?Didn't catch up on the thread, too tired. This month is my birthday and the local movie theater offers a free bucket of popcorn if you come in during your birthday month. So I went to see "Mickey 17" tonight. By myself, sadly. There were three other people in the theater so it was quiet. Interesting movie, still absorbing some of the ideas.
Hope everyone sleeps well, coffees well, and has a great next 24 hours.
Then understand completely as the body remembers. My parents were good cooks and always served up low cost but good food. The way it was cooked and the fact that I was served the same bowl (cold, out of the refrigerator) for breakfast and dinner for up to 4 days.
What a great little community we have.I hope your cardiologist went over these numbers with you. Here's my 2 cents:
LM = 0. This is EXCELLENT! The left main is called the "widow maker" as it supplies 85% of the heart.
LAD = 298. This is considered moderately calcified and can be concerning. The LAD comes off the LM, runs down the front of the heart, and supplies about 50% of the heart.
Cx = 163. This is considered moderately calcified and can be concerning. The Cx comes off the LM, wraps around the left side, and supplies 25-40% of the heart. It can also supply the sinus node, also called the pacemaker of the heart, in about 30% of the population.
RCA = 59. this is considered mildly calcified. The RCA supplies most of the right side of the heart and the sinus node in up to 70% of the population.
PDA = 0. This is EXCELLENT! The PDA supplies most of the back side of the heart, along with the Cx.
I would say you have a moderate risk of a cardiac event within the next 3-5 years if there are no changes made in your lifestyle. The LAD and Cx combined can supply up to 85% of the heart's blood.
ACV has not been shown in clinical trials to reduce or eliminate calcification. Your best holistic bet is to eat clean, try to stay away from trans fats and highly processed foods. Drink 8-10 glasses of water in addition to other beverages, like coffee. Reduce your stress levels.
Exercise, outdoors, as much as possible. The sun helps our bodies make vitamin D, which can be heart helpful. DO NOT take vitamin D supplements without consulting with your providers. It is a fat soluable vitamin; you could be at risk of overdose if not managed.
Continue to f/u with your cardiologist. S/he may recommend a heart cath. Stents placed in the LAD and Cx can keep those vessels open. A heart cath has a much quicker recovery time, about one day, compared to open heart surgery (weeks).
This is the long-ish answer! I can go into more detail if you need it!![]()
Sometimes, you talk a lot of ship!
I wish it was not part of my routine but I am up by 5 every day. It’s mostly because of my old dog. It never was the case with my late wife as she had her ways to bring me back to bed.Woke up right at 5..... Wish I didn't, but because I'm me and this happens a lot, I had set the coffee maker for 450 so at least I was able to pour a cup as soon as I got up! So that part is a win!
Bitch!
The twat, not Landlady!

I don't generally like getting on ladders. I doubt that lightbulb will need to be changed again. I used a 10,000,000 hour LED bulb. At least, I think that's what the package said.![]()
