Sexual Chemistry for an LTR

Recently came across someone who wants a long term relationship and wants to build trust so we discuss all other aspects of our life. But when we come to discussing sexual chemistry /compatibility, they get cold feet and back off saying they can’t talk about it as they need to build trust. Has anyone experienced this ? I would consider sexual chemistry / compatibility as a pre req for any potential long term relationship to build trust along with other aspects . Pls correct me if other wise .. Thoughts??

I think both of you are correct...
I am in a couple long distance, long term friendships currently, and for me to be sexual with someone now, I need a relationship built on communication...

I used to be able to be sexual and enjoy it with strangers, men or women; but anymore I need a friendship for starts.

Maybe give them a bit more time to feel comfortable... But don't be afraid to put your needs first also... If being sexual with a friend is what you need, make your feelings clear and just be very honest...

Thank you. I am not in a rush and taking things slow at a pace we both are comfortable with . We have been talking about everything else under the sky until yesterday. I get that they want to build trust but all I said /requested them is not to be averse to the idea of discussing this topic once trust is established to put my point across. If they say, don’t even want to talk about it even after we build good trust then imma walk away as I can’t have a LTR without sexual compatibility /chemistry.

Maybe keep looking elsewhere as well in the mean time, life is short! Show confidence and purpose. Thanks bud, I have dropped it and moved on as she didn’t revert back. The funny thing is they came on to me on a reputed BDSM site impressed with my profile and wanting to explore this dynamic. I am confident and committed to finding a sub long term.
