Does Donald Trump even know how to drive?

He does not appear to know, either, that consumer boycotts are not illegal.

But if it's a Tesla, does he need to know how to drive it? Is it one of the self-driving models?

Economic boycotts in the United States are still permitted in the United States, except most companies, by state law may not boycott the rogue nation of Israel, because that would be, you know, 'anti-Semitism'. They're called 'anti-BDS laws' and vary wildly by state.

Texas had their Anti-BDS declared unconstitutional for 'overreach'. When Hurricane Harvey hit a few years back, Texas officials tried to make disaster recovery aid contingent upon signing a binding pledge not to boycott the Israeli Reich.

So that means you like Trump a bit more, since you don't like people driving cars, right?

Why do MAGAt cucks, like NastyCuckBoi, care so much about whether or not decent, intelligent individuals ā€œlikeā€ the rapey, racist, fascistic, misogynistic, imbecilic, corrupt orange traitor???

I don't care if people want to drive cars. What I object to is the government subsidizing the auto industry
The government funding people's ability to get from A to B is one of the least objectionable funding behaviors.
and building cities that force people to drive.
No one is forced to drive, it's entirely voluntary.

The auto industry is constantly being bailed out. :)
Even worse than directly bailing out the auto manufacturers are the trillions of dollars of hidden subsidies that we pay to build car-friendly infrastructure. Drivers have never paid they own way for their transportation.

Yes, because I live in LA where it's hard not to.

From day to day I mostly walk and take the train because it's faster and more convenient than driving everywhere.

If L.A. built more bicycle infrastructure, I'd trade my car for an electric cargo bike.

A lot of people have the illusion that cars are "individual" and mass transit is "communal." It appeals to the libertarian streak in American culture. But cars are useless without tax-funded streets and roads and signs and signals, and cops spending more man-hours enforcing traffic regulations than fighting crime, and specialized traffic courts, and state DMVs. Considering how many wars are really fought over petroleum, we should even attribute part of the defense budget to automotive transportation.

No, it isn't. Before WWII, driving was voluntary. Now, relatively few Americans live within walking distance of the places they need to go every day, and few have access to mass transit as a practical substitute for a car.
