It looks like Friesians are Calypso-sized and Percherons are fawkin' yuge. Like a ton yuge. They can go through some oats, I reckon, but he wouldn't care if you rode him.


e/t/a: I always give Telly kind of short shrift. He's actually a touch bigger than Calypso was. Pushing 17 hands and maybe 1400 pounds.


Also, if the horse is free, it is priced right.

Baby Poodle was the result of his mother's slutty behavior - wasn't in the plans. He and Telly are about the same age (24). Horses are all over Out West, and the older ones are unwanted quickly.


The Amish take reasonable care of their livestock, but they are work engines and not pets by a long shot.
