TV:
-The IT Crowd. Fucking loooooved that show. Popular in the UK but not in the USA. Hilarious.
-Peep Show. Same as above.
-What We Do in the Shadows on FX/Hulu was a funny movie and then made into a tv show here in the USA that was likely better than the movie even. Big thumbs up.
-Fleabag had a brief moment when it was popular but it seems mostly forgotten. Loved that show.
-Mr. Inbetween
-Mindhunter (maybe not unpopular, but...)
-Samurai Champloo (anime, dope soundtrack, great lil story, no weird monsters or superpowers etc)

Films:
-Ghost World
-Lost in Translation
-25th Hour
-Moonrise Kingdom
-Okja
-Icarus

prob many more if I think about it for a while...but just starting the convo rolling!

I'm not as up to date on television, whether or not it's netflix or anything else...

As far as films, the ones I don't see mentioned a lot that I absolutely love is the "Before" trilogy. Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, and Before Midnight.

Yeah, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer in Nov. 2023. I'm now stage 4, but the chemo has been doing its job. I have a tumor down in my belly and three lesions on my liver... BUT I used to have a lesion on my lungs and it's gone now. the three on my liver have all shrunk, and the tumor isn't growing like it was. It's looking more and more like I will beat the five years survivability projection I was originally given. I'm a stubborn bastard. They said five years and my first thought wasn't, "Holy Shit, I'm going to die!" It was "Okay motherfuckers, the goal is six years!!!" And I intend to beat that as well. In the meantime, I'm going to suck down all the good things life can give me. I'm not one to go out quietly!
