Well she wanted Olive Garden. Carb overload but she was happy I made her do it. Brought the dessert home and that's what's having for dinner.

I should have been better by now but I still feel like crud. Had the chills so I turned up the fire in the sunroom. She says it's because I go the basement every morning to work out. Maybe.

I did have something similar. You also had to have the cabinet and the ginormous speakers to go with it! I think I still have some of my components.

Home. Today did go more gooder. Gooderer. We have city inspections again tomorrow, so there's that. We'll see how it goes. We're still not checking our work well. In fact, it's still kinda poor. I went around the corner to have supper, and the property guy called to say that a unit had no heat, and that he was sorry he had called and not to worry about it. We have some older folks, and it's going to get chilly tonight, so after supper, I went back by. Girlfriend has a running heater now. Bonehead wire butchers didn't check their work and left the fucking breaker off. That was one of the newer existing units, so it didn't even get changed out. 100% wire butchers.


Wretched motherfuckers.

Here the main problem would be ice storms...then the trees tend to fall...weighed down with ice...

We don't get ice storms that often. Big winds cause tree falling on the power lines. Our utilities are underground but the ones leading into our neighborhood aren't. I feel very fortunate to have a generator.

It's just a bit after 2300 on a mild but cold PNW night. It's been clear the past few days so our nights are pretty cold, just above freezing. But! No snow for us! And no wind! And, there's a beautiful waxing quarter moon up tonight!

A hundred years ago, before the invention of cell phones, I forgot to set my clock for the time change. I rocked up to work an hour early for my night shift. Since I was there already and the place was a zoo, I was put to work immediately!

I had a guy once who was late for work because he forgot to jump his bedroom clock forward and overslept by New Time. I have never understood that. Walk your lazy ass around the house and reset ever fawkin' clock in the house. It a twice-a-year ritual.
