Neoliberals don't approve of tariffs. Trump is not a neoliberal, he is fascist for reasons having nothing to do with that: He is an authoritarian racist nationalist populist. (Don't tell me he's not a racist, there has been no reasonable doubt on that point since the 1970s; the Klan endorsed him for a reason.)

House Speaker Mike Johnson had Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, removed from the House chamber during Trump's joint address for disrupting the speech.
Johnson banged the speaker's gavel as Democrats disrupted Trump's speech, before instructing them to follow decorum and ordering Green's removal.

"Members are directed to uphold and maintain decorum in the House and to cease any further disruptions," Johnson said. "That's your warning. Members are engaging in willful and continuing breach of decorum, and the chair is prepared to direct the sergeant at arms to restore order to the joint session. Mr. Green, take your seat. Take your seat, sir. Take your seat. Finding that members continue to engage in willful and concerted disruption of proper decorum, the chair now directs the sergeant at arms to restore order. Remove this gentleman from the chamber."

Whether he has a Junior Secret Service badge or not will not affect his chances of survival. Trump just made use of him, coldly and cynically, to manipulate the public's emotions.

If Trump wanted to honor that kid, he'd support single-payer health-care and he wouldn't have ended DEI. Good for the Dems not playing along with his cynical, disgusting gesture.
