The extra-dumb part (above the bit about them protesting about not being allowed to go to work) being that the fired workers are the recently appointed/promoted who are still in probationary period. They're the keen ones.

The lazy do-little workers who have been there for years are still there. But Habba wasn't appointed herself for being talented in any area apart from chest.
