I didn't know we could get currants here. I can't in my local stores. I did know about them being eradicated; I thoughtvit was all. The ones I bought from Amazon were red. IDK where they were from.

We literally grow them here. One of our garden plots has currants, gooseberries, red and yellow raspberries, and a few blueberries. Wife likes red currants in her pancakes.

Apparently the red and white currants are not the same as the black currants in terms of carrying the pine rust fungus.

I'm curious what black currants taste like. Apparently it's more common in GB, etc.

I'm a nurse, retired now. I was an advance practice nurse in critical care and also taught nursing at a local university.

My friend was a malpractice attorney. He's retired now, too. Sometimes he would ask me to look at a case.

This was standard from my days when all our friends were getting married.

Back in the day, the 90s , they haf those little disposable cameras on each of the tables at the wedding. There was always at least one picture of the moon.

It was always the best when the parents or in-laws developed the film!

I found the black ones in a Whole Foods a couple of times. Not sure if they are seasonal or not?

Update - the weather begins acting like spring this week. This morning is grandpa taxi run. Then brunch and a visit with my son.

The old dog is being demanding of affection. Need to scratch his ears then he is satisfied. Does that work for us? .

hope you feel better today! Headaches are not fun at all. A quiet dark room and several cold packs are my medication of choice. Far more effective for me than anything on the market other than my botox. I don't know who made the connection between Botox and migraines but it's been completely transformative for me.
