I have lots of ideas. I bet some raisins or other dried fruit would be good.i have never eaten a current....

They're kind of like a cross between a cranberry and a raisin. I bought some from Amazon. They're small, a bit tart, but sweet.

We grow red currants here. Some grow white.

Black currants were eradicated, as they are symbiotic with some fungus that decimates our white pine trees...

I didn't know we could get currants here. I can't in my local stores. I did know about them being eradicated; I thoughtvit was all. The ones I bought from Amazon were red. IDK where they were from.
