Never. There are a lot of reasons for this but lets start with reality. You might swear and oath to the Constitution but at the end of the day its a piece of paper and Trump, like Obama and Bush before them were men. Men trump pieces of paper more often than not. Remember everything about Gitmo is Unconstitutional and we have the disgusting photos of our military posing with bodies stacked and nude. I could go page by page and point out how often we violate the Constitution and in many cases we universally or nearly universally agree. I don't see in the 2nd amendment anything about being an adult and considering people were considered adults a lot younger in their day and age than they are today. . .

To your specific question there is a reason why retired generals (who sadly always remain nameless probably for safety reasons) have said we need to be wary not of a military coup, but of a military that follows the orders of the President to just maintain him as president. We're talking a group that while not nearly as conservative as the media would have you believe still lean right. Even the ones who don't would be loathe to turn on their brothers and sisters. If you've never served you really don't have a grasp on what it means that you eat with these people, you even if you have something closer to a dorm room than barracks you still sleep with them. You work with them. Your real family are often states or continents away so they become your support group. That kind of brainwashing goes deeper than you think.

Which while we're on the topic is what makes the don't ask, don't tell rule that Clinton put in place and Obama eventually got rid of so stupid.
