I still recall my reaction when grandpa told me he recalled when candy bars cost a nickel. I believe my gripe then was the increase to a quarter

I don’t remember nickel, but I remember when they were $.11. A dime plus a penny tax.

Then they went to $.16 then $.22. Then candyflation really hit!

Right now in my “ light” jacket pockets I have my -22 mitten and a wool hat while In my backpack I have cleats and a compressed down vest and a balaclava just in case among other things.

I just went to dollar general and 2 people in front of me was one of our high class villagers ( not) asking if the medicine she was buying was good for yeast infections. And the woman in front of me was buying medicine for and I quote ( I feel like shit) as she touched and hacked all over everything.....

I got out the sanitizer and sanitized what she touched so i could touch it.... f:#>'#^< people
