An irony is that taking a company public means that all workers and 'management' are employees. But the profits are skewed to the top of the pyramid. There is no reason for this to be true. Yes the history is that you exploit the workers for the profit of the owners. But why should only of few of the workers get to share in the ownership? But it means changing the paradigm. You keep the profits IN the company. Then everyone is motivated to do well because all profit. And it means everyone agrees to 'take a hit' if the company is in trouble. In the Japanese model the execs take big cuts first.

Communism has never existed anywhere. China and the Soviet Union were National Socialist (Nazi) countries despite what they called themselves, modeled on the 'boss everybody's ass around from the top' German idea. The fundamental idea, really worked out by this country is that government must come from the bottom up. No dude or dudess, no matter how charismatic, knows more and better than the wisdom of all the people working it out with and against each other.
