This is likely because you are trying to pass it in as an "image" by using the Insert Image icon. Instead, use the "Insert Link" option and it will open up a box where you enter the URL, and also the text (or emoji) you would like to appear for people to click on

If you use imgbb you will notice you can set a timer. Many people will put a timer so that the photo auto-deletes and then becomes inaccessible after that time. But this is all on comfort level of course, just something you will notice here quite a bit
