let me clarify this so that i dont seem cold. i dont judge anyone or any culture where this is a normal practice. i myself have just never paid for sex and certainly never paid to have a woman talk to me (other than a therapist). if the goal is connection, i have a strong need to feel wanted. i dont want someone there with me in any circumstance simply because they are being paid. if you dont want to be here, thats fine, im good...is all i meant.

There are bars in Tokyo where you actually pay women to talk to you, just regular conversations. You can pay more to have more intimate conversations, like how you are feeling. Nothing sexual. Odd places.

Japan has some other shell we say more sexual experiences according to my guy who was stationed there years ago. If anything, I'm sure it is worse or better depending on what you're looking for.

I loved being in Japan! Japan (Tokyo and other larger cities) have a very robust night life with a plethora of options that would never be considered here. For the most part, except with the much older generations, the plethora of options are widely accepted!

Ah! You hit my nerd button on Japanese culture, and I have to shut myself up now.

Nerdout! I absolutely loved living in Japan! Loved immersing myself with our local friends. I was rarely spotted where there were other Americans!

But, a group outing where women are going with us? Yeah, that could be fun. Not jonesing for it, but would participate.

I haven't been to one in a long time, but agree that they're only enjoyable in a group setting with friends!
