i have to strongly disagree with you...freedom of speech is not freedom from consequences...there is a HUGE difference between playful banter amoung friends and someone coming into a thread for the sole purpose of inciting arguments and personally attacking people. that this is your initial reaction troubles me greatly. he was given the benefit of the doubt and nicely asked to change his behavior and he doubled down. how many people have him on ignore? this should be a clear red flag. i hope you will do the right thing, but if not, i have to ask the question if there is someone the situation can be escalated to. ignore is not the answer, its not even a block...they can still see messages and interact in the thread. the goal should be to create a safe and friendly environment for everyone. allowing this kind of behavior would be extremely disappointing.

I will preempt this by saying that I don't care about policing someone's behavior, especially on forums. Ignore is what I do as far as possible.

Now for the points you raised, he did not use "skank" to refer to a gif, but to an actual person. That gif was not some generic gif from the internet, but one that had a member of this thread in it and was created by her.
People who were calling each other "creepy" and "bitches" have known each other for quite some time, are regular participants on this thread and understand that those were just used in jest. It is different when a stranger pops in and starts shitting all over without any introductions or taking the time to get to know the others and vice versa. These things were clearly communicated to the new person on the thread.

So I strongly disagree that anyone was being hypocritical.

I actually had no idea that was a real person, but this is a sex site where terms like choked out and bitch and daddy and lil are used with little regard. Get over yourself. Really.

I noticed a bit of a misunderstanding with the language that was used. "Skank" is one of those words that, as you said, works with the people that know you. As we get to know you and your personality in here, if you choose to hang with us, I'm sure we will understand that it's simply meant in jest and good-natured fun. But, when you drop that word, without the vocal tones that allow for that kind of humorous understanding, it can create the discourse that seemed to appear in here.

"Bitch" is that word for me. I won't call someone that until they know me better, so they know I don't actually mean it the way most intend. I don't think you're a bad person or meant anything the way it was taken, but we have to remember not every thread is the same. We want this to feel like a safe space for everyone, including yourself.

If you stay and play, I know I look forward to getting to know your personality and how it will weave into the mayhem of this thread. Even when something is accidentally offensive though, it doesn't hurt to give an apology. We have some sensitive hearts in here and like I said, we want it to feel safe for everyone.
