🌶️💃🏻🎸Brat House: Boobs, Bums and Bedlam🌶️💃🏻🎸

Cheap Trick. All Shook Up, if I remember the album right.

Ed: sorry, didn't see that you had posted when I hit post.
Why sorry? I love hearing you remembering some of the stuff I remember. In my case, it was driving up Holgate, south of 39th... that was sooo long ago. Feels like 4 or 5 lifetimes ago.

i live in texas, not canada or hell frozen over like you crazy people...its currently 18 and feels -7...the low tonight will be 11, i believe its a record low...so...hush!

I'm tempted to mock you, but I'll just say this, I ran and did some errands, including filling the vehicle with fuel and I was in a t-shirt... it's 18*. Kids had a windchill of -10* at the bus yesterday.

So you're saying you're a total stud. Well, good! You better be. You don't want a Mama Bear snooping around because someone she loves got upset.... just saying...

*** okay, I'm not worried. You're a good man, and I know it. Every once in a while the Bear stands up on it's hind legs... maybe it's like that green guy or something. 🤷‍♀️ ***

I love how protective you are! ❤️😘😘

My boss lives in the DFW-ish area and was complaining about having to have water for his cattle and making sure it doesn't freeze. I told him we had water buckets with heaters that we plug in and he was dead silent for a solid 10 seconds. 😅

I feel bad for folks that aren't used to it. I lived in OK for almost 5 years and it got cold there, but not COLD cold, and even then it was short lived. I rode my motorcycle year round there and got lots of stares.

You're not prepared for stuff like that where you live, so I get it - it does suck.

Yeah... I bought my Honda in January of 2011... spent a few months fixing the stuff that needed attention, then rode it daily for a couple years here. Honestly, the summer riding was far more brutal than the winter riding.

And... while I still own it, I haven't ridden it since before I bought my house... that was 7 years ago. 🤷‍♀️

yeah, thats really the issue, we also have the WORST power grid in the entire nation because texas is the only state not federally regulated. when the power was out for 4 days in 20 degree temps and 9 inches of snow 4 years ago, it was miserable. we also got charged over $600 that month when the normal bill is $300. im sure this months bill will be stupid too even though the heater was off for a week and it was 85 last week.

I'm going to give them a hard time, but it's true - if you're not prepared, it does suck!

All the southerners worrying about the cold tickle me. I don't love the cold, but I used to live in MT, where 30 below happened pretty regularly.

When you have to use a block heater so your car starts, and your snot freezes in your nose, you can complain. 😂🤣
I've never lived any place that got that cold... and... I'm happy about that. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I thought it was pretty funny when I bought my Jeep that it came with heated seats.... like... I don't think that is required in Las Vegas... but, yeah, of course I use them when I'm cold!!! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

And I found out the original owners lived in Arizona. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Just giving you shit, Rafey-boy.

If it's any consolation, probably none of our power grids will be federally regulated or worth a shit soon.
oh youre good, im just teasing back. its definitely different worlds. ive only ever lived in texas and southern california. i wear shorts 90% of the year. with the right clothes, tools, and acclimation it would be fine. but we just dont have those things, haha.

Okay.... I need to spout off. One day I was had youTube playing videos, I'm enjoying the music, not really watching anything and I glance up and... sitting behind the amazing Freddie Mercury is.... my bike! I stop it, zoom in, look close... yeah, that's a 79 in Black, mine is an 80 in Burgundy. The stripes are exactly the same. Of course, mine doesn't look like that anymore, obviously, because it has a whopping 35k miles on it (and I bought it from the original owner). But Nevada sun is not kind to anything.

But still... isn't that cool? I thought it was cool. The fact I customized mine... then did it again... then did it again... then again... didn't help anything... but it was fun!

Didn't Texas, all of it, loose power over a snowstorm in '21? Because they didn't winterize? People died?

So maybe a little freakout is understandable...
