I'm a 1:1:1 kind who skips the sugar syrup as I like it tart and salty. I get the good stuff for the family gatherings, the cheap stuff for the let's get smashed gatherings.

Good stuff being Don Julio or Patron or El Tesoro.

Cheap stuff here is some Aussie ones, which I can't remember the name of

All the sweet drinks taste delicious but give me a hangover. Burbon treats me right and I wake up ready to go. If I am only going to have one or two I enjoy a Pina Colada with a floater. Cheers! Tequilla, straight up treats me nice too!

Hmm, I’ve heard of 2:1:1 with no simple syrup and I’m tempted to try it. I’ve been working through a giant bottle of Cointreau so I can upgrade to a better Orange liqueur. I’m skeptical of a 1:1:1 mixture. It sounds like it would be too strong on the lime for my taste.

Yeah it can be if you aren't eating at the same time. I just looked at my mixology notes and I both recipes 2:1:1:1 and 1:1:1. Hilariously the 2:1:1:1 is written in one of my friends handwriting with a blurred lipstick kiss at the top.

Must have been a good night and I can't remember seeing her do that

It is an extra shot of rum poured on the top before it is served. Just a little extra kick. I have to be careful with sugar and alcohol, it is a bad combination for me but one or two is not bad. I do like to just mellow out.

Cold brew doesn't have to be ice coffee ( I can't stand ice coffee myself). You can cold brew it (less acids and bitter flavors) and heat it to drink. It is allowed.
