The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

All that foolishness for a singleton. One mostly black little girl.

If you like goats, you'd love Sophie. They'd the littlest dwarf who came last summer/fall. She talks, she follows us around, she gets out and looks things over, and the uses the big goat for a wind-break and for warmth on cold gusty days. And she hopes into the horse trough to help him eat his oats. The horses let her. They seem to like her. Horses are good with goats.
How many kids do goats usually have? Sophie sounds precious! 🥰

Good morning Wat and other diner dwellers. We got about 3 inches of snow and it came late last night. The roads are slick. The snow is light and fluffy.

I am sad that I learned a friend has metastatic prostate cancer. I have reached out and offered to get together when he gets treatment here at the U hospital.

I’m enjoying a wonderful cup of coffee. May your coffee warm your body and soul on this cold snowy morning. 🫂
You're a good friend, B2! 😘🫂✨💖

The only thing I won't do with a trainer is do that jump up onto a box s***. And we get that right out of the way out front. I am not doing it, ever it doesn't make a difference if you try to force me I won't do it. And then I stick to my word
We've talked about box jumping:

Me - I can't believe they do that!
She - That will be you soon!
Me - Yeah. Riiiight! Not likely!

🤣🤣🤣

Just a pale pink. She didn't have a lot of time between clients....

Next time we are gonna do something a little fancier with some glitter
Oooh! I love glitter ombres. It's when glitter is placed either on the free edge or the cuticle area then dragged towards the center. I tend to paint mine with the glitter at the free edge. It looks like the glitter is just raining down on your nail.

Here are some examples.

Good morning. Tweeked my back yesterday doing my workout but it didn't hit me till the afternoon. Sore and stiff (insert B&B art here) this morning but mobile at least. Was going to take the morning off but I remembered it's trash day.

So, coffee a cookie (or ten) and start the chores as usual but skipping the workout. I'll be back at it tomorrow for sure.

It's trying to warm up here in NE Mississippi. Lots of rain the least couple of days. The pond is so full I think the overflow is clogged . I need to look at it today and make sure the levy doesn't wash out. I bet the lake down the path in the woods isn't much better. I don't think I can bust a path down to it and I don't have a working tractor to take the logging road. I'm sure that road is more like Vaseline than road.

Stay dry, warm and healthy.

Oh, ouchie, M! When you for get back at it, ease into it at first to gauge how you feel. 🫂🫂

Body's thermostat is inner wrists, ankles, and back of neck. In winter, add a hat for the heat escaping through your head. Get those covered and you have a better chance of warming up and staying warm.
The dangles (fingers, toes, nose, etc.) may need their own coverage, too.
I have to echo covering your head! Up to 45% of body warmth can escape via an uncovered head and neck. 🤯

Thanks Woderer. She’s still coughing but two full days of two drip antibiotics has her feeling a little better. She can’t shake the cough though, and so they’re going to keep her another night. Been out sitting with her to keep her company. She rested most of yesterday but was sitting up and did a little PT with the nurse today. She’s not out of the woods but showing improvement.

Afternoon Z…as I couldn’t get logged on this a.m. Too many cute nurses around! 🤣

She may well have the cough for a few more weeks. They won't keep her that long. When she has a clear chest X-ray, they will start talking about discharge. 👩‍⚕️🫁🌑

@likes2watchU Your "mouse" decided to pose for a photograph all on it's own.

I was taking a break. This thing was still raring to go. It spent the afternoon kicking my ass!

This is some miserable white shit this year. There is normally a layer of "sugar snow" at the bottom by now, which makes breaking chunks loose easy. Not this year, and early thaw after a bit of snow and then some rain has an 8" layer at the bottom that is like concrete. Cannot pop it loose without cutting all around it, then hitting underneath a half dozen times before it breaks loose. Two days, and I'm not quite half way. This used to take a single afternoon.
Be careful, DKA! I can't tell you the number of old guys we got in our ICU with head injuries from falling off the roof! Let your wife or someone know when you're going to be up there. And use a roof retention system!

That's what we've had in NC all week. The sun did peek out a bit this afternoon.

Making a bit of headway on the job. Met the head guy for the customer. We seemed to hit it off all right, which is God. It was warmer today. Got some stuff marked off for deliveries tomorrow. And of course, there's the meeting with los jefes at the office tomorrow.

And then heading home for a couple of days. I so hope that Ethyl isn't angry.
She told K and me she's been prowling the house wondering where you are! Just be prepared! She may be sharpening her claws! 🤣😅🤣th-51.jpeg
