The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

OK, had to check. Outside to outside the tracks measure 50". Bogie wheels are in from the edges of the track a bit, so have squeezed between things that were narrower. Wouldn't make a habit of that, tho. Might be able to squeeze between 48" in a pinch, but not much if any more.
Not many folk use wheelers with track attachments around here. If you wanna work in the snow, a Skidoo is the way to go. If you want to play in the snow, you might consider Arctic Cat or Polaris. The old monster Yamaha's are good pullers, but not in the deep stuff.

Yeah, this machine is a compromise. It's slow (maybe 20mph full out on good ground). But not having two different machines for summer/winter is nice.

It will GO through snow, tho. Flotation is great, and with all contact surfaces pulling doesn't stop for much. I've dropped it into frozen creek bottoms where the snow is over the handle bars, and it just crawls right through.

Yet, 50 mph across the flat swamps and lakes is nice. I dunno how fast the 900 will go, the 600 will do 70 with my fat ass on it.

Oh geez. I hope she’s doing better HDH. Pneumonia is no joke.
Thanks Woderer. She’s still coughing but two full days of two drip antibiotics has her feeling a little better. She can’t shake the cough though, and so they’re going to keep her another night. Been out sitting with her to keep her company. She rested most of yesterday but was sitting up and did a little PT with the nurse today. She’s not out of the woods but showing improvement.

Afternoon Z…as I couldn’t get logged on this a.m. Too many cute nurses around! 🤣

So if the handle bars are under snow, then you up to your chin??? 🥶 Not enough layers to stay warm. Needs must but yikes!!
Thanks peeps. Already feel better. If I keep moving it losens up. If I sit for a minute, I have to start all over.
Yes. Makes you feel like a shark needing to be in motion all the time.
That need should start to lessen the longer it is from the event.

Stops on a dime, right?

🫂 Good they're keeping her another day to assess the cough. But sounds like she's moving in the right direction. Lovely you could spend time with her.

Good morning. Tweeked my back yesterday doing my workout but it didn't hit me till the afternoon. Sore and stiff (insert B&B art here) this morning but mobile at least. Was going to take the morning off but I remembered it's trash day.

So, coffee a cookie (or ten) and start the chores as usual but skipping the workout. I'll be back at it tomorrow for sure.

It's trying to warm up here in NE Mississippi. Lots of rain the least couple of days. The pond is so full I think the overflow is clogged . I need to look at it today and make sure the levy doesn't wash out. I bet the lake down the path in the woods isn't much better. I don't think I can bust a path down to it and I don't have a working tractor to take the logging road. I'm sure that road is more like Vaseline than road.

Stay dry, warm and healthy.

Sorry to hear your back got all geeked up. That sucks, but usually it just takes a few days to work out I hope.

As for the doggie dishwasher??? It’s easier than scraping the dishes!

I’m glad things are improving. But it’s not anything to mess around with so keep a very close eye on it, bud!

And on the nurses…. You know how sexy they are!!

@likes2watchU Your "mouse" decided to pose for a photograph all on it's own.

I was taking a break. This thing was still raring to go. It spent the afternoon kicking my ass!

This is some miserable white shit this year. There is normally a layer of "sugar snow" at the bottom by now, which makes breaking chunks loose easy. Not this year, and early thaw after a bit of snow and then some rain has an 8" layer at the bottom that is like concrete. Cannot pop it loose without cutting all around it, then hitting underneath a half dozen times before it breaks loose. Two days, and I'm not quite half way. This used to take a single afternoon.
