The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

All that foolishness for a singleton. One mostly black little girl.

If you like goats, you'd love Sophie. They'd the littlest dwarf who came last summer/fall. She talks, she follows us around, she gets out and looks things over, and the uses the big goat for a wind-break and for warmth on cold gusty days. And she hopes into the horse trough to help him eat his oats. The horses let her. They seem to like her. Horses are good with goats.
That's awesome!
I'm a HUGE Goat fanatic.... 🐐
As a Capricorn, it only makes sense. Lol.

Have you ever seen "Goats On A Dam?"

Ooh - finally above zero this morning. Heat wave ♨️
It's always nice when someone trusts you and thinks you can do what they need done.
💯 That trust goes a long way!
I was chilled when I got in last night and put on all my warm stuff. A warmer day today will be a pleasant change.
Body's thermostat is inner wrists, ankles, and back of neck. In winter, add a hat for the heat escaping through your head. Get those covered and you have a better chance of warming up and staying warm.
The dangles (fingers, toes, nose, etc.) may need their own coverage, too.
I am sad that I learned a friend has metastatic prostate cancer. I have reached out and offered to get together when he gets treatment here at the U hospital.
🫂 I'm so sorry, B2. Nice you've reached out to help support your friend, but sorry they're going through this in the first place.
The only thing I won't do with a trainer is do that jump up onto a box s***. And we get that right out of the way out front. I am not doing it, ever it doesn't make a difference if you try to force me I won't do it. And then I stick to my word
I now have that same hard limit for kettlebells.
Had to learn the hard way to say no and not back down. One herniated disk in the neck was all it took.
Butthole.soup

🤢 🤮 🤢 🤮
Agreed - I will listen to the Butthole Surfers but hard pass on the Butthole Soup or Pucker Pie
I like to share information and teach.
😍 Love this - why sit on knowledge like a miser IMO?
I do a lot of sharing and teaching in my position, too.
Pajamas???? 😂
Aren't they cute in their little PJs?
Tweeked my back yesterday doing my workout but it didn't hit me till the afternoon.
Ouch!! Maybe some light stretches to help things ease back into place? Hope you feel better soon. Those tweaks can really have an impact!
Back to the hospital today, home by dinner.
🫂 Take care and hope you're home soon!!

Off to lunch now for my mid-day siesta... rest the peepers before an afternoon of screen time. 👀

Good morning. Tweeked my back yesterday doing my workout but it didn't hit me till the afternoon. Sore and stiff (insert B&B art here) this morning but mobile at least. Was going to take the morning off but I remembered it's trash day.

So, coffee a cookie (or ten) and start the chores as usual but skipping the workout. I'll be back at it tomorrow for sure.

It's trying to warm up here in NE Mississippi. Lots of rain the least couple of days. The pond is so full I think the overflow is clogged . I need to look at it today and make sure the levy doesn't wash out. I bet the lake down the path in the woods isn't much better. I don't think I can bust a path down to it and I don't have a working tractor to take the logging road. I'm sure that road is more like Vaseline than road.

Stay dry, warm and healthy.

Hope you feel better.....staying mobile does help.....

A lot of the winter trails on the seismic lines end up being barely over 48" wide, which is slightly more than the outboard width of my Ski skins on the Skidoo.
OK, had to check. Outside to outside the tracks measure 50". Bogie wheels are in from the edges of the track a bit, so have squeezed between things that were narrower. Wouldn't make a habit of that, tho. Might be able to squeeze between 48" in a pinch, but not much if any more.

Not many folk use wheelers with track attachments around here. If you wanna work in the snow, a Skidoo is the way to go. If you want to play in the snow, you might consider Arctic Cat or Polaris. The old monster Yamaha's are good pullers, but not in the deep stuff.

Yeah, this machine is a compromise. It's slow (maybe 20mph full out on good ground). But not having two different machines for summer/winter is nice.

It will GO through snow, tho. Flotation is great, and with all contact surfaces pulling doesn't stop for much. I've dropped it into frozen creek bottoms where the snow is over the handle bars, and it just crawls right through.

Yet, 50 mph across the flat swamps and lakes is nice. I dunno how fast the 900 will go, the 600 will do 70 with my fat ass on it.

Oh geez. I hope she’s doing better HDH. Pneumonia is no joke.
Thanks Woderer. She’s still coughing but two full days of two drip antibiotics has her feeling a little better. She can’t shake the cough though, and so they’re going to keep her another night. Been out sitting with her to keep her company. She rested most of yesterday but was sitting up and did a little PT with the nurse today. She’s not out of the woods but showing improvement.

Afternoon Z…as I couldn’t get logged on this a.m. Too many cute nurses around! 🤣

So if the handle bars are under snow, then you up to your chin??? 🥶 Not enough layers to stay warm. Needs must but yikes!!
Thanks peeps. Already feel better. If I keep moving it losens up. If I sit for a minute, I have to start all over.
Yes. Makes you feel like a shark needing to be in motion all the time.
That need should start to lessen the longer it is from the event.

Stops on a dime, right?

🫂 Good they're keeping her another day to assess the cough. But sounds like she's moving in the right direction. Lovely you could spend time with her.

Sorry to hear your back got all geeked up. That sucks, but usually it just takes a few days to work out I hope.

As for the doggie dishwasher??? It’s easier than scraping the dishes!
