All the home care applicants we been in touch with this week are either sick or taking care of the sick and can't make an interview. I'm stuck.

Moms doc appointment was cancelled yesterday due to the weather. But I did reach out to them the day before to ask them to address the dementia with her.

Thanks a ton for everyone that suggested it. I had no idea it was an option. They knew exactly why I was calling and what to do about. Now we just have to reschedule. Soon I hope.

Hope everyone is staying dry, warm, healthy and happy. 😊

And, I've seen people rebuild engines/fuel systems after filling a gas car with with diesel.

On a trip we stopped at a gas station, and watched two teenage girls pull up to a pump with a four wheeler. I spoke up to get their attention, and they looked really annoyed that I had the audacity to speak to them! I then explained that what they were about to pump into their toy was diesel fuel and would most likely ruin their day. They looked embarrassed, but did pull over to an actual gas pump...

And yes, Scotty annoys the shit out of me too!

So the pneumonia must be going around. Got a call from the kids last night that my mother was going to the hospital. We had EMS come do an evaluation and we all decided she neeeded to go in. Sure enough her o2 levels were low and chest X-rays confirmed pneumonia😮. The nurse told us it has been a bad year for flu and pneumonia. So, didn’t make it to work as I was in the ER till 2 a.m. They finally got her a room though. Everyone have a great day. Stay healthy and warm.

I'm glad you got her in quickly. Pneumonia is no joke for anyone, especially older people. 🫂🫂

It was interesting. He is a new construction guy who is now doing rehab. He told me this stuff and I wasn't quite privy or wasn't quite tuned in. These are rehabs, and this is a new customer. I'm a rehab guy and it looks like they want me to earn the big chunk they are paying me. I'm good with that.


It's always nice when someone trusts you and thinks you can do what they need done.

If you like goats, you'd love Sophie. They'd the littlest dwarf who came last summer/fall. She talks, she follows us around, she gets out and looks things over, and the uses the big goat for a wind-break and for warmth on cold gusty days. And she hopes into the horse trough to help him eat his oats. The horses let her. They seem to like her. Horses are good with goats.
 
Chilly, breezy and rainy here again this morning. I get to be in it more than I care to. Hey, it's a job, and a decent one at that. The rain goes away sometime early afternoon, and the temps go up today. I was chilled when I got in last night and put on all my warm stuff. A warmer day today will be a pleasant change.
 
Good morning Wat and other diner dwellers. We got about 3 inches of snow and it came late last night. The roads are slick. The snow is light and fluffy.


I am sad that I learned a friend has metastatic prostate cancer. I have reached out and offered to get together when he gets treatment here at the U hospital.

I’m enjoying a wonderful cup of coffee. May your coffee warm your body and soul on this cold snowy morning. 🫂

The only thing I won't do with a trainer is do that jump up onto a box s***. And we get that right out of the way out front. I am not doing it, ever it doesn't make a difference if you try to force me I won't do it. And then I stick to my word
