I just get a lot of satisfaction making a pie crust that is flakey and melts in my mouth with whatever delicious filling that's in season.

Pie junk is my absolute favorite dessert....

The pie crust always has more edges than pie pan...
My momma would make.the pies and instead of tossing the leftovers she'd roll them out again...

Apply a significant layer of butter, and the. A special cinnamon sugar mix,.and more butter and she'd smooth them all around till it was creamy and on the edges.

Then it's time to.cit them into prices....
They're like "squares* you roll them up.....not like a cinnamon roll....

But it resembles a eggroll.or a tocquito

Bake til golden brown ....
Enjoy warm with milk ....

And that's how you pie junk..
