well, for one, have you actually SEEN one of those trucks? Who'd want to actually be seen driving one of those rolling dumpsters?
And for other, Tesla cars were once desirable alternatives to gas powered cars- until it came out how unhinged and outright horrible Elon Musk is as a person. So a lot of people are having second thoughts about supporting that company.

EDIT: thank God for Rivian, Polestar, Lucid, etc- nice alternatives to Tesla.

I know I do. Time will tell. I haven’t exactly seen a bunch of Tesla’s on the market, but new car sales may be where it hits.

All jokes aside. How do those others compare in price and durability to Tesla’s? If they’re better vehicles, then the market will decide. Almost like it’s supposed to be…😉

I nearly bought a Rivian truck and may still. I hesitated when the company lost the Amazon van contract. Instead I bought a fairly heavy position in their beaten down stock.

IL just promised Rivian $6 billion. The lot is full, and I mean full of Amazon vans. :)
 
The American auotomobile industry is deep into the negative returns phase, when costs are always rising and quality is always dropping. With such junk across the board, the difference between an ordinary gas lemon and an EV lemon may seem negligible.

It's clearly going to be worse with all the corruption and BS lies propping up a false economy getting cut off. Sure it will hurt all those corrupt elites and their boot lickers.

But at least it will be honest.

We're going to find out what the REAL California and New York economies are looking like without mega-billions in welfare rolling in the back door....I think that's what Democrats are MOST afraid to have exposed. That without all this bullshit spending propping them up, their states are absolute fucking DUMPSTER FIRES.

I don't care about him not being able to sell it, and not surprised tesla won't trade it in: the cybertruck looks horrendous, even moreso in that colour, but that's no excuse for people treating him and his wife+kids so badly. No-one should have to be in fear of their lives just because of the vehicle bought, especially the person's children. It's not right.
