Good morning friends from over the pond and early risers. I am on cup 2.

Weather is still cold but clear for grandpa’s taxi. I will watch for black ice.

Weather for tomorrow is a mix of freezing rain, sleet and snow. . Just give me snow!

Of those options, I would much rather have snow, too! Here, we get snow during the night which melts during the day. The melt then freezes at night. If it snows again, then it's on top of ice. With all our hills and bridges, it makes for treacherous driving!

They do make “women’s” handguns. Like in pink and stuff. So many of them are made largely out of polymer these days.

In all seriousness. There make many handguns just for that purpose - to be small and lure sized or for concealed carry.

Be careful out there! My wife just slipped on the ice and got 5 shiny new staples in the back of her head to close the gash. Lots of people in the ER who had falls.

Ouchie! Did they evaluate her for concussion and/or bleeding? Scalp wounds bleed like you opened an artery!

Coldest I’ve ever been was -15 (without wind chill) in the Colorado Mountains. Hottest was 123 degrees in Baghdad.

i think about the same. Summer of 2004. Maybe 120ish near camp victory north. Unbearably hot.

And working on and/or being inside a tank in that heat is awful.

I can get acclimated to the cold better than I can the heat. I feel
Like I can get used to it better. The fucking heat just stays with you and bakes your skin and insides.

Funny thing is I like nice warm weather. Give me a nice 90 or 95° day in New Jersey any day of the week. Even w the humidity. But that desert hot?? Oh no.

If I have to be hot, I'd rather have dry heat. I just can't do humidity.

I had to contact two last=t year jobs for paperwork - one W2 and one 1099. One would think . . . .
