I seriously considered getting into FF, but MMOs are a time sink, and I just don't have time for that right now.

Only FFXI and FFXIV are MMORPGs. The rest are just RPGs

So, still a decent commitment even on a non-completionist run

Also played V after years, VII Crisis Core and Dirge of Cerberus, and X-2

I've played to completion 1, 7, 8, 9, X, X-2, XII, XIII, and XV. I've dabbled in the rest of the main line games, except the sequels to XIII.

I've also dabbled in Crisis Core and Dirge of Cerberus. I'm currently in the middle of XVI, but I haven't played in a couple months.

Oh, and I have most of the soundtracks too. The FFVII and Advent Children ones on imported CDs

That's not full completion, getting everything in the game though lol I'm not a completionists thank God. Except for X-2, I had to get the best ending for that one!
