I was going to take a pass this time but I’ve come up with two stories that look at a topic from different perspectives eg: a man’s and a woman’s. I’ll toss them in the mix soon.

Ok, tried another one last night. I wanted to go with a sexy fortune teller story. 750 words and they still have their clothes on.

I know I have allways been rather long winded in my setups for a story but this is getting ridiculous. Ohh well, I have two solid intros for good stories to write this year. Lets see if the third try is a charm.

One is a dialog between two minor characters that some people latched onto from my longer series.
One is a monologue from a lingerie salesman giving a pitch to a 1950's housewife.
One is a weirdo sci-fi thingy that started as a joke and now I think I might want to turn into something much bigger

This was not my suggestion, but ...

--- I know this is not what you had in mind but the premise you presented has a lot of potential. At a minimum, it could very well go as a 750-word challenge.

Define your own characters, add some quirks, and make them real. Then put them in a situation of your choice and let them live it. And, if possible, don't meddle in their choices.
