That's what you get for fucking with the Biden crime family!

"Former New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez has been sentenced to 11 years in prison, following his conviction on bribery and corruption charges.

Last July, a jury found Menendez guilty on 16 counts for accepting gifts, including gold bars, cash and a Mercedes-Benz, in exchange for helping foreign governments.

Prosecutors were seeking at least a 15-year sentence, citing in court documents the "rare gravity" of the ex-senator's crimes.

Lawyers for Menendez, 71, had called for a shorter sentence paired with community service."

I wonder if it's all those black daddies living by the 4 fs ( find them, feel them, fuck them, forget them ).

blacks have a higher propensity of violence than all races combined.

I wouldn’t even think of walking a predominately black neighborhood, wouldn’t end well.

That's what you get for being a corrupt politician who sold himself out to the highest bidder. He deserved life.

Orrrrrrr

The DOJ under President Biden was totally independent and non -partisan, and Democrats are the true PARTY (not single individuals) of law &order AND JUSTICE.

Yeah, that’s ^ it.

You lose.

Thanks for playing.

Is it coincidental that shortly after Menendez criticized Biden's border policy he was being investigated by the Crime Family's DOJ. NOT!!
He's been investigated multiple times by multiple DoJs.

Biden isn't the reason he was convicted.

lol, blaming a man’s crimes on another man while dismissing the crimes of an actual convicted felon. Too rich!

Yep, that is what we’re dealing with from the mouth breathing MAGAts.

😑

JFC

SAD!!!

I never said Menedez wasn’t guilty, he is. However Menendez criticized Biden’s border policy on several occasions and I believe democrats cover for their own, but not in this cases. Garland’s DOJ was correct for pressing charges but I believe not for justice sake but for mob type vengeance for outwardly criticizing the Biden’s border policy. I believe Garland will be judged by history as the most political and corrupt AG in our recent history. IMHO Now that Garland is out of office the truth will come out in bits and pieces over time. Again IMHO

Disagree, the DOJ in the Biden admin followed the law in charging criminals, trump included (all he had to do was cooperate and give the files back like Biden did). I don’t doubt congress critters get a bit sketchy rich while serving, but Menendez was blatantly stupid about it so busted and there’s no way to quietly take care of things. Actual rule of law.

Now compare the Biden admin charging people actually breaking the law with thin skinned trump himself directing minions to go after people because they said mean things about him and tried to hold him accountable for his actions: Milley, J6 committee, removing protections for people under real threat of life. Not rule of law, but retribution. And how would you characterize that type of leader?

As far as AGs go, let’s not forget Billy Barr, who auditioned for the job with a paper on how a sitting prez couldn’t be charged with a crime, and who essentially lied about the mueller investigation results.

We'll see. Biden's DOJ is already in the hot seat for overextending their authority in the J-6 prosecution. Charging J-6 individuals with obstructing a congressional procedure, denying due process. Failure to charge Biden with mishandling classified material. I understand you can't prosecute a sitting president but it sure could have been filed for later prosecutorial reference while he was VP and a senator.

Menendez was guilty as sin, I'm not disputing that. I'm curious as to the motivation behind the DOJ. I'm entitled to my opinion and I stated it was strictly my opinion.

I'm not getting into TDS arguments. The only case I was intently interested in was the fake electors. It was not a coincident that these charges were brought forward right at the time of the elections. Smith should be brought up on charges for prosecutorial maleficence and election interference.

That's true do this day. I believe is a DOJ rule not a statute.

He never lied about the Mueller report! He gave a brief synopsis of a large report.

If he committed crimes then charge him and hold him accountable

It’s not TDS to compare how vastly different Biden and trump wield presidential powers. As far as Smith, you are aware that the trump strategy is to deny, deny, deny, then to delay, delay, delay.

That's true do this day. I believe is a DOJ rule not a statute.
And nailed down by SCOTUS, setting a precedent that will probably have unintended consequences

He never lied about the Mueller report! He gave a brief synopsis of a large report.
Fair enough, I may have overstated. He did give a synopsis that was a don’t look there, look over here misdirection
