I watched the first episode of Lost and said NOPE.
I dont care for David Lynch/weirdness types of shows generally speaking.
I have heard it was a pretty good show and yes a fumbled ending.

Wow, Lost is one of my all-time favorite shows. So freaking good. Great characters and story arcs. And the only show to make me tear up, many times, which I don't generally do so easily. I'd suggest giving it another shot sometime but if the first episode didn't "roll your socks, " guess the rest wouldn't either. But still, I'd always recommend it. And while it does at times get weird and metaphysical, among other things, it's not at all Lynchian weird. Also, I dug the ending. But I also didn't have an issue with GoT's finale either.

I might be American, but am passionate about the global game of football. While the football games on Sunday were good, nothing compares to the Champions League and matches on the weekend.

I used to have a FAQ here. I also had posted a few pics and some videos here. How old am I? 24

What do I do for work? I graduated in business/marketing. I work for a very large company that you are likely using at least one of their products this very minute, and I work on their web campaign launches.

Where are all of your piercings? Ears. Nostril. Septum. Tongue. Nipples. Navel. Nothing more or less. No the septum didnt hurt because I have a decent sized "sweetspot". Nipples did hurt for a moment. Navel actually hurt. Ears and nostril did not. Tongue was just weird.

I have two older brothers and when I was about two, we moved to Torino. I lived there for about five years and then we moved to Los Angeles, California. I grew up in LA, hence my fandom of the Dodgers for example, though I follow football (soccer) more and am a diehard Juventus fan. I also follow F1 (Ferrari is my constructor obviously). I do speak Japanese and Italian. Neither are 100% fluent, but I am pretty solid in both, especially Italian.

If you can only measure the successful and nice football in the number of WCs you are true but the successful era was between 1936 and 1967.
Yes the Golden Team era stopped by the Russian occupation in 1956. Just to be clear that team played the Total Football strategy what loved the world and had a huge impact on the British football as well because 3-6 in England and later 7-1 in Hungary opened their eyes.

No I do not mean just winning the WC means your country is good and anyone else is bad. I did not say or imply that at all. Do not twist my words.
But the best leagues in the world for "soccer" are coincidentally in those countries for the most part (Prem League, Bundesliga, Serie A, LaLiga.)
This is not to slam the USA for example, but yeah the MLS isnt great. There are some really good players but those really exceptional players usually leave and go play in Italy, England and so on because those leagues are better, they can play against the best teams, make more money and so on. I watch some MLS, have been to many many matches but its not a "soccer" country here in the USA. It just isnt. It saddens me. And when I watch some matches and see some half filled stadiums I am sad. Thats why watching Portland vs Seattle in MLS is amazing because those fanbases are amazing and theres some history too. Ive been to a few Portland/Seattle matches and the environment is up there with stuff in Europe for sure. But I am not implying the US hasnt had an impact on football. It just isnt in the same breath as Brazil or Germany or Italy or whatever.

Just as I am not saying Hungary or Uruguay or Canada or Japan or numerous other countries havent had an impact on football. I never said that. Again, do not twist my words. And I never called out Messi EVER. He is the best. Ever. No question in my mind. Though I dont think of him as fondly as I do some other players I enjoyed watching or rooting for more (but thats another topic). I simply said I wouldnt put Hungary in the same sentence as Brazil, Germany, Italy, Argentina. And sorry, thats true of almost every country, including some powerhouse countires for football like Spain, France, the Netherlands and more. Heck Uruguay has won two cups and Japan is almost always highly technical and can be fun to watch. England is a weird exception because they have the best league in terms of talent, but as a country they havent performed extremely well in the WC, but also have had some bad luck as well.

But no, I absolutely stand by the fact that in terms of football, theres about 10 countries that are CURRENTLY untouchable due to their history, their wins, the talent thats come out of them, the quality of the league(s) there and so on.
Brazil, Argentina, England, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium. You might be able to add Uruguay in there too.
Theres many more countries with some GREAT players and teams...Poland, Croatia, Portugal, Sweden...many others. But I stand by my 9 or even 4 if you want to take only those. They are currently the untouchable 4.
