The Transitioning......(no, not THAT Transition, the Trump one....)

Do you have any statistics that support this?

Background reading mostly. I could undoubtedly come up with some but it'd be something I don't have enough time for, so I will inflict my opinion on you and leave it at that.

So you just don't like government workers and in order to make your argument, you literally just make up shit.

Got it
Nah, there are some govt workers that ARE needed, but they're in general a necessary evil IMHO. We have way too much govt, and that's a philosophical approach.

What is the correct amount of government?

I'm sure that getting them into the office will both increase productivity and reduce cost....because of some shit people have made up 👍

I wish. Alaska looks great, but where I live is pretty nice too. Not moving, and we got rid of our Dem Senator this election. Yaaaaaaay.
So you're calling people in Alaska to convince them to vote her out?

Murkowski HAS to go.....

God Bless Murkowski for having the God given COURAGE to do the right thing in the face of darkness and evil.

Without courage to stand up for what is right, evil festers and wins. This country, and the Republican party in particular, needs more people like her who are willing to stand up to tyranny and evil.

I would not suggest the Confederate soldiers were bad men. No doubt most of them were good men by the standards of their time and place -- certainly they were brave men, to keep up a fight against such odds for four years. But they fought in a cause that does not deserve any public honor or valorization.

Every Confederate monument should come down, except for that bas-relief on Stone Mountain -- the only Confederate monument I've ever seen that has any artistic value.
Also, most Confederate monuments were erected in the 1920s -- not to honor the soldiers, but as a public assertion of white supremacy.

These political appointees who have wormed in and embedded themselves need to be terminated across the board...

“Elizabeth Peña was terminated, effective today. The Administration is actively working to ensure no other political operatives from the Biden-Harris administration were secretly burrowed into the government,” an individual with direct knowledge of staffing decisions told The Daily Wire.

The firing suggests the Trump team is hitting the ground running with attention to detail when it comes to the federal workforce, prepared to detect and respond to tricks and evasion that at times thwarted the president’s administration in his first term.

There are strict rules around political appointees converting to career employees to stay in the government after their president’s term ends, designed to prevent the subversion of the new administration. Conversions must be approved by the Office of Personnel Management and reported to Congress.

But between the election and Inauguration Day, the Biden Department of Labor skirted that process by creating a three-year position and appointing Peña to it, The Daily Wire revealed on January 15. It contended that because it wasn’t a permanent position, the rules didn’t apply, even though that would place her in the workforce for the majority of Trump’s term.

This is a new one: The University of Colorado has renamed its DEI office the “Office of Collaboration.”

I’m so glad that DEI has brought in some of the smartest minds and they have figured out how to operate without government funding. The ATF was less imaginative, but these silly exercises in hiding in plain sight won’t fly. A reduction in Federal funding will encourage compliance with the Law of Sanity.

Let's see how they like their government funding being cut off. LOL. Win-win, really.

This is something the democrats have excelled at over the years, perversion of the language for political purposes. Office of Collaboration my ass.

Let's use the word "racist" as an example. Over the years the definition has morphed from it being, "a person who believes themself to be superior to other races" to "anyone who disagrees with me." A sub-element in the promotion of a 'cancel culture', a practice that is quickly dying out.

Regardless, the "Office of Collaboration" will quickly be identified as what it is and the result will be 'no funding for you.'
