He probably realised that the crowd this time would have been smaller than 2016.So much for that "big crowd size".![]()

I see what you did there. Well played, sir.Pity it will be inside. I was hoping he would better the effort of the 9th President, William Henry Harrison.
Someone made a comment the other day about that Trump supporters have the same relationship with Trump that they have with the bands they grew up with. Back in the old days, it was new 'n fresh 'n exciting to see this new thing....The high on Monday is forecast to be around 25, low 9. Snow on the ground from Sunday. Then you get older, and you're very comfortable with the band/Trump doing the "greatest hits" thing over and over....you support them out of habit and try and ignore the fact that they are both the band and Trump are far past their prime, their best days are behind them, and they're going through the motions. We've reached that point....both the band and Trump are only in it for the money. It's performative at this point.
I don’t think the analogy fits. Presidential inaugurations are very different than concerts. What they do have in common however is that major bands and presidential inaugurations draw thousands of people. In both cases, precautions in the interest of public safety are important.
