Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do
long day - no complaints really, just long
I read ahead, so I know the ending. Was hoping the day would go as well as could.
Hope you get good results. Been thinking of you all day!! Glad no claustrophobia.
this!!! Keep your cooties to yourself, y'all!!!
The Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo - no memory, but think aptly named?
Here's the standard welcome for all café newcomers:
Welcome to the café.
We conduct ourselves a bit differently here than most of the rest of Lit.
Post #1 introduces the joint... and glancing back over the last 10-20 pages provides additional context.
To be clear:
1. No religion 2. No politics 3. No drama 4. This isn't a hook up thread. Take it to the DMs or go somewhere else.
Everyone is welcome but we are protective of the vibe
This applies to all who visit this thread.
If this feels like a good match, welcome...
If not then please keep looking on Lit -
There's so many threads to choose from. You're sure to find a few to your liking.
I prefer from scratch so I can leave out most of the sugar. I prefer mine savory with a kick. Sub out sugar for some cheese, garlic, and jalapeños. Mmm, yummy!
(I'm leaning towards the latter, but can't throw that far

Damn, it's cold. Funeral day. Mom is becoming a source of concern.

Good morning Wat, OM and MissK. I will know scan results this afternoon. The MRI was with the new machines and so no claustrophobia. It was loud even with ear plugs and music.

Right? My mom did this, too.it is a control thing
Well, doggone. Now I don't remember what show we were going to watch. You might have to shape a link…. This might be fun to watch.
Or not…
Lovely, but glad I wasn't driving. Driving into the sun hurts my eyes and can trigger a migraine. Beautiful but brutal... Mother NatureSunrise this morning. Press play.
I wish that people understood that if you don’t feel well to stay home because your infecting the rest of the team

I like green beans, brussels sprouts, yogurt, and a few others now.Haha.... I used to HATE pickled beets...now they are a yum..... our taste buds change

Family, eh? Thanks for the reminder to check my own cell phone bill.It did, well enough. That side of the family is weird. The other side is dead, so they're less complicated/complicating. Mom dropped several f-bombs while riding down and said she might slip up while we were there. She didn't that I heard. The service was okay. The priestess gave a homily and talked about how Death is hard. Death isn't hard, it's fucking Life that's hard. I didn't correct her after the service. Once she got out of her vestments, Wat could see what a killer nice ass she has. She got a pass. Most of those people we only see at funerals. I have tighter family in this-here online bar. I had a first cousin - probably 45 or so - introduce himself and say we had never met. I agreed and told him, let's keep it that way. There was a picture of Mom, who was walking by herself at 92, her 89YO step-sister on a walker, and her 85YO 1st cousin on a cane and they did a Little Old Lady picture. I said out loud that it looked like bridesmaids catching the bouquet to see who's next. Someone heard me. It's fucking true . . . . The ride home was uneventful.
Mom also forgot to pay her phone bill so it's cut off.

I was raised on Jiffy corn breadMade my youngest daughter make corn bread from a box (Jiffy). She did a good job but she wouldn't eat it. Bah!

I was on a board and we had it set with the bank that any transfers over a certain amount required 2 signatures and it could only be the 2 on file w/ the bank. Specifically to stop this kind of end-run BS.Hone from sewer board.... they tried to slip a transfer of 400000 dollars without board approval except for board pres. My co board member and myself put q stop to it..... then tried to quote Robert's rules to us.... they were wrong.....AND then someone wants a sewer credit for watering lawn..... I reminded we had an ordinance and it is not feasible to manage..... its bs.... all over 1 guy who had a high water bill from watering his lawn during a drought with a watering restriction in place..... who happens to be friends with our sewer board admin...I will be voting no
Today's word is "corruption", "corruption"I made the comment that "it is as if you all are talking about stuff without us" .... they are used to a bunch of yes men
