The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I feel like that need some back story. You can't just drop something like that without more info or links!
I really don't know if he was guilty or not, as I've had 4 great Drs in my life... three of which, were raped by the medical board, after refusing to sell their private practices to the local "medical conglomerate."
He was initially investigated and dropped as a suspect, then, he was later charged after a city employee, taking a leak on the Dr's property "discovered" some grenades...

That’s a rough one.

Dementia is hard and of course the person struggling with it, doesn’t see it. (Literally). And she is also dealing with the passing of someone too.

Hope all goes well today, bud.

It did, well enough. That side of the family is weird. The other side is dead, so they're less complicated/complicating. Mom dropped several f-bombs while riding down and said she might slip up while we were there. She didn't that I heard. The service was okay. The priestess gave a homily and talked about how Death is hard. Death isn't hard, it's fucking Life that's hard. I didn't correct her after the service. Once she got out of her vestments, Wat could see what a killer nice ass she has. She got a pass. Most of those people we only see at funerals. I have tighter family in this-here online bar. I had a first cousin - probably 45 or so - introduce himself and say we had never met. I agreed and told him, let's keep it that way. There was a picture of Mom, who was walking by herself at 92, her 89YO step-sister on a walker, and her 85YO 1st cousin on a cane and they did a Little Old Lady picture. I said out loud that it looked like bridesmaids catching the bouquet to see who's next. Someone heard me. It's fucking true . . . . The ride home was uneventful.

Mom also forgot to pay her phone bill so it's cut off.

That sounds like … a time. I’m glad you checked out the high priestess lady. 😂

In all seriousness tho. Yeah… family. And funerals…. And family members you only see at them…

Sounds like it’s good to be home.

Thought I would post....again.
Fixing dinner tonight I was worried that my tiny air fryer was going out as it was taking too long to cook the steaks. Finally saw that the timer had timed out but by that time the squad was getting cold. Bah!
Made my youngest daughter make corn bread from a box (Jiffy). She did a good job but she wouldn't eat it. Bah!

2 guys from England named josh and jace are on social media trying American food and reviewing.... this am it was deviled eggs...2 thumbs up

" they should be called angel.eggs"

They went to biscuit world and that was a win too....hahahaha

They are doing a tour of appalachia...... oh lord.... they tried moonshine and one of the guys threw it back like it was juice.... the bartender called him a dumb ass...hahahaha
They call them scones...lol

My wife (not a nurse, but she thinks she is😂) would give my parents advice on food or health issues. They would summarily reject it…until they heard it on the Nightly News. Then a lightbulb would go off, and they’d say things like. D has been saying this for years! My wife would just steam…🙄

I guess there is a certain generation that had a trusted source. Whoever or whatever that may be.

Man it’s cold down here…25 this am🥶. I know y’all are laughing up yonder! Day three of Anti-B’s…getting better but slowly. Hope everyone has a great day. On to the MZ!

Hone from sewer board.... they tried to slip a transfer of 400000 dollars without board approval except for board pres. My co board member and myself put q stop to it..... then tried to quote Robert's rules to us.... they were wrong.....AND then someone wants a sewer credit for watering lawn..... I reminded we had an ordinance and it is not feasible to manage..... its bs.... all over 1 guy who had a high water bill from watering his lawn during a drought with a watering restriction in place..... who happens to be friends with our sewer board admin...I will be voting no

It's good that there are strong, attractive, intelligent women like you standing up for the rest of us.

Make the waterers get meters for their sewers so they can pay for what they don't use. And when they see what a meter costs to install, they'll shut up and (probably) water less.
