Israel and Hamas have reached a deal to halt the fighting in the Gaza Strip and free more than a third of the Israeli hostages, who have had to endure more than 15 months of captivity, officials say.

The breakthrough deal, which was met with celebrations in the streets of Gaza, will create a 42-day cease-fire in the war-ravaged Palestinian territory after 15 months of fighting.

The pause in fighting will allow Israel and the terror group Hamas to negotiate the terms to release the 97 hostages remaining in Gaza.

I agree there should be punishment for trying to steal someone's house. The punishment for the muslim terrorists (who've been trying to kill Jews and take their land since 1947) is similar to that of the Germans after WWII (funny how the anti-semites always seem to whine when they are thwarted in their attempts to exterminate Jews). The Sudeten Germans aren't going back. Kaliningrad will remain Russian. Lviv will not be ruled from Vienna.
