It sounds like you are referring to some personal interactions that made you feel threatened. On the whole, Democrats are no different than you. They want and support opportunities for everyone. At least many of them do. I'm not an advocate for stripping property or rights from people because of their political or ethnic background. You batch every Democrat together rather than seeing people as individuals. Life is so hard when viewed from your current perspective. Having reasoned discourse could help with that.

Or just asinine claims that Haitians were eating people's pets when it was blatantly false. Trump and Vance waved it off when informed about the truth of the matter. Vance even went to the extreme and said if he had to make up stuff to get attention, it was okay to do that. That type of inflamed hyperbole does not help ensure pathways are accessible and just for immigrants. A willingness to empathize with immigrants’ struggles, legal or otherwise, fosters a more constructive dialogue.

I'm also okay with returning illegals who are criminals and those who circumvent the legal entry system that could have entered or applied to enter legally. But that process should be done with civility and handled with due process as well on the government's end as well. You don't threaten to use military force to round up people like some third-world dictator. We have laws and procedures for that. It takes time and resources like more courts and judges. It's not easy, but it doesn't have to be approached with a lynch mob mentality.
