Better is good. I like better. May a full recovery be speedy!Slightly, thank you. I was able to traverse the stairs without assistance and haven’t thrown up in about 29 hours, body temperature has mostly stabilized. Still feel very dizzy and lightheaded and can’t quite sit or stand up straight without swaying though. "Frisson" is a great word, meaning "thrill" or "shiver" in French.
And there is a very Lit application as well. You know that feeling, that little dance of a thrill in your stomach when you see the red number next to the Messages icon, and you hope to your deepest heart that it is from that one specific person? That feeling is frisson as well.

Let's exacerbate that a bit
We're not swapping mid-party, we're celebrating with SO's family tomorrow which means they take care of everything. I just have to show up with presents! (though we'll swap again next year)
This year has so many mid-week holidays that I only had to use 3 vacation days, and I'm off work until the 7th of january! We have something called klämdag, or squeeze-day, when a normal days falls in between two holidays it is converted to a holiday because fuck work!
