After all these years of being on this site , this is my first visit. It seems like a nice place and I could use a black coffee and have a look around.

Welcome.... we give all the newbies the run down.

Read the first page ..is a rundown of the guidelines of this page.

We do have a few rules to keep us all happy.

1. No drama
2. No politics
3. No religion
4. This isn't a hookup thread. We don't hit on each other or proposition each other. There is a little teasing at times, but if you want to approach someone do it as a DM.....privately.

If you want to get an idea of what the vibe is read the last 10 Pages or so. It is more like the Cheers bar type of vibe. Talking about lots of different stuff. At any time we could be talking about cars, doctor's office visits, recipes, trees, engines, Etc. We are highly protective of the vibe on this thread. If you think this is a good fit for you, belly up to the bar. If not we wish you well but there are other threads on this site that may be more to your liking and we suggest you join those.

Morning or back to bed??

Been up for an hour but no sleep. It’s good to be home, even tho the biz trip was short.

We had dinner with a few couples last nite. Really nice time. The snow was starting to stick to the roads by the time we left but got home fine.

Today the temperature is gonna drop so I may try to get some work done outside before it gets really cold.

But it sounds like a good day to watch the college football championship games.

High of 28 today 13 tonight. 20 tomorrow, low of 4. Clearing the snow before it freezes...

Upper midwest. This is my 1st time at the "cafe". Any specials today?

Bad, watered down drinks and cheap food.

This weekend I am making our famous Irish cream. (Seriously). It’s homemade Baileys, Just abt everyone tells me it’s better. You can drink it straight or in your coffee.

We have a great cast of characters here too and the conversation is great!

It’s a fun place. We welcome all. Think of it as a virtual neighborhood bar or coffee place where people meet and bullshit and bust on each other.

We don’t hit on the members here. It’s one of the few places on lit that’s NOT abt sex. We try to keep it simple:

No politics, religion or drama and please no hitting on the patrons.

This place is abt meeting people, friendship, talking, friendly banter, pets, random trivia and having a laugh.
