For my part I am the father of two daughters who serve(d) in the Navy. My older daughter retired last year after serving 21 years and is currently attending law school. My younger daughter is a CRNA and a Lieutenant Commander currently deployed in Japan. Both of them disdain any female military personnel who play the 'woman card' in getting out of doing physically intense chore. My younger daughter was proud of the fact she was able to endure better than almost all of her male peers in a gas attack resistance test exercise. Tulsi Gabbard seems to be of same sterner mold and can only be admired. Those of you Trump haters who think she is a traitor, and a Russian asset are drinking the Koolade in believing all of the constant lies spewed out by the Dems and their faithful lapdog acolytes, the MSM.

I doubt you could really quantify any of that. I’ll say this. Every time I heard Mrs Gabbard speak, I thought…damn, too bad she’s not on our side.

When she single handedly ended Kami’s presidential hopes in under 5 minutes during the democratic debates, I officially became a fan. I very well could have voted for the first democrat in over 35 years for any office…

Do not link my comment about being a traitor to the idea of being "asset." My traitor is traitor to her party and the admonition as old as Machiavelli not to trust a traitor, or, if you want to "church it up" turncoat. It has nothing to do with her service. Imho, a lucrative retirement to private life and speaking up as to why she left the party would have been the upright thing to do.

I am proud for you and your family, but they serve no part in any discussion of a general nature on a public forum; it comes across as appeal to the fallacy of false authority akin to, you really have no say in the abortion issue because you cannot get pregnant. I do hope you follow me and take this not as hostile personal remark, but as general guideline.

If you observe through perusal of most any of these threads, you will face no end of just pure hostility and hate for having shared, your story will be warped and perverted and thrown at you whenever you post as a conservative for having outed yourself as oh, so many pejorative things...
 
Followup: Why didn't she stay and fight for what she believes in instead of joining with the man her Party hates the most? as if she had been spited, or scorned, and it smacks of revenge, not noble..., small and petty.

He should not have been elected, for multiple reasons, but just because he’s said some reasonable things as of late, I’ll not change my original thoughts on him.
