I understand this extremely well. For years, people have told me I should talk to myself and give myself the same advice I give others. And only a few months ago I started actually doing that. I wish I had started years ago. There may not be anyone else in my life to say nice things to me, but it still is nice hearing nice supportive things - and it turns out - especially coming from me.I never listen to myself
Even though I’m told quite often I give great advice… to others… that I never follow for myself
Just my experience, of course.
