Biden pardons Hunter. MAGAts say Biden is senile. So, can't blame a senile, old man for wanting to save his son.

The intention of a Presidential Pardon was to right wrongs not destroy righteousness, morality or thwart deserved punishment. Biden has corrupted everything he touched for the last 50 years as a “public servant” - stealing at every turn from the American people has been his only full time job.
And now democrats have fully taken off the mask. They are preemptively admitting that Jack Smith, Merrick Garland, the FBI and the DOJ engaged in 4 years of political prosecutions against conservatives because they are coming out and urging Joe Biden to pardon the criminal organization they call an administration, like, all of them. They are urging Biden to blanket pardon everyone. Democrats pushing for pardons shows they know their legal actions were political hits. It's an admission that justice was weaponized.
Sorry, that's NOT how it works. It's time for accountability, not amnesty! A president's pardon privilege was never intended to allow years of systemic treasonous activity within his administration to go unpunished. You can not have one political party commit 4 years of egregious crimes against Americans and their political rivals with zero consequences. Remember, dems opened this Pandora’s box of lawfare, and now the hunters will be hunted. Karma.

Nah, dogs need to be casseroled. They're generally fairly tough and you need to tenderize them for a while, altho if you run them over with the truck a few times that tends to do it. Cat's are better. More like chicken but still a little lean and chewy, and carnivores just don't taste as good.
The neighbors kids guinea-pigs are better but you need quite a few of them and we've used them all up. Very nice with satay sauce though, but honestly, vegans are better, you just have to make sure you don't get the ones that are fitness freaks or that vape. The ones that vape taste gross, and the fit ones don't have enough fat on them. A nice chubby lettuce-and-fruit fed vegan's the best and even better if they have Democrat Lawn signs - you know they're the soft defenceless ones. You do have to cut the vocal cords before you start to put them on the rotisserie tho, otherwise the screams as you impale them disturb the neighbors. Stuffed with apples and basted with a nice honey glaze, they're rather tasty. Sort of close to pork.....except for the Mexican-sourced ones, who can be a little spicy

Pardoning him then flying out of the country on "official" business for a few days until the heat dies down (come on, how many times has he visited Africa while in office?) shows that even he knows it looks bad....even to his faithful apologetic media supporters.
By messing up the democrats chance for a meaningful primary season (perhaps giving them a better/more popular candidate), then this, certainly clouds whatever "legacy" he hoped to have.
Shows bad judgement at the very least, and perhaps a contempt for the system he's been a part of his entire career.
I'm not shocked. after all he plagiarized a speech from Neil Kinnock, the one time UK Labour party leader.

By the way, there is no equating of Trump and Biden, though both have now pardoned bad people. Both have lied to the public, though by far the greatest liar is still the felon Trump. Pardoning Hunter versus Trump's action during the J6 insurrection is not even a comparative worth discussing.

Nope. It is an easy call on Biden's pardon of his son. He promised the nation he would not and then did so. That's how Trump acts. Both are culpable to some degree now. Biden is not a shining star in my world over this particular matter. Trump has been coal dust for most of his life with deplorable actions as a businessman and as a President.
Not so complicated on this issue. Biden failed me on Hunter's legal issues. Trump failed me on everything else issues.
To be fair: Once it became apparent that DonOld was following through on Project 2025 and appointing henchmen as cabinet members, etc, President Biden was pretty much obligated to pardon Hunter AND ANYONE ELSE that may have offended the MAGAt’s dear orange leader by daring to apply the rule of law to that rapey, racist, fascist, misogynistic, bigoted, corrupt orange traitor.
President Biden is making real world decisions on pardons, based upon the realities of the day and the threat DonOld and his fascist cabal pose to loyal Americans.

Can’t speak for anyone else. But for me, it’s because it’s the symbol of the end of good as a viable motivator.
In their desperate war against progress and the growing wealth of those they hated, the right-wing tapped into the worst of humanity and made alliances with true moral mercenaries. They found the idea of losing to be so abhorrent that they courted those who saw no value in long-term thinking and would rather burn down everything.
And now, they won. It is a Pyrrhic victory for them. They won by carving out every single value they held and republicans and are now enslaved by the very same monsters who will enslave us all. Now, the only path forward is to bow at the altar of Trump, because to act against him will be madness. He has reshaped the party to serve him.
There is no path forward anymore towards a better future, only the individual struggle to acquire wealth at all costs. Truthfully, I’d rather have a better future for our grandchildren than wealth today.
