ETA: Don’t agree with the move on Biden’s part, but it’s still nowhere near the level of corruption that occurred constantly in the Trump campaign / administration. It is unfortunate that he resorted to this, and that it will give Trump an excuse to pardon anyone he wants, no matter how heinous the crime, and even for those who have committed crimes in his service.

I also understand why he did it. As Joe’s son, Hunter was the lowest-hanging fruit on which they could direct their retribution. It was never about Hunter, it was always about Joe.
