“We have a plan of sorts” Dick said wincing at how lame it sounded and tapping the table, it warmed before a holographic representation of earths orbit appeared along with the watchtower and the strange tear along with rows of data to accompany it.

“The Tear is extra dimensional” Wally said highlighting it “Darksied pulled the hero’s into a pocket dimension it’s open but not stable I have no idea what going in will do to it”

“So we could end up some where completely different?” Alex asked raising an eyebrow

“What Kid Flash is saying is that it’ll take us where we need to go but it could close get wider stabilize or any thing once we enter it” Dick said before looking over at Star Sapphire “I know how the lantern corps work and I think your ring can get us in and out” Dick said before turning to the rest of them.

“Once we enter we approach this very very carefully” Dick said looking at each of them “we get in figure out where we are and what the rules are then we find out hero’s I doubt that Darksied sent our mentors to a safe cushy place we could be in a bad situation and the only way were going to get through this is to act like a team” he said

There were a few moments of quiet after Robin finished speaking as the young heroes mulled over his plan and their situation. Lexi then cleared her throat and spoke up, "No questions, Robin, but a couple of points for everyone's consideration."

The buxom redhead felt far more nervous than she looked. That all of this was resting on her was pretty intense...and with what she was about to tell them, it could get a lot more intense. She hoped none of them attacked her. That would suck.

"First thing, I should be able to get us there. My ring isn't like Green Lantern's, his is powered by willpower, mine is powered by love." She smiled as she said it, holding her hand with the ring on it up for all to view. "It can sense the bonds of love between people and when they're in danger, it can teleport me to love that is threatened. So when we do this, and I know it sounds silly, but you're all going to need to focus on those feelings for your mentors and friends over there to make sure we get an accurate jump."

She took a deep breath, "Second thing, assuming that we all make it back, some of you are probably going to get a secret message insinuating that I'm connected to a powerful bad guy." She knew how her Daddy thought; he'd use her secret as a wedge between her and the heroic community so he could isolate and then destroy her. Divide and conquer. "So before he gets all to setting us against each other, I'm going to nip it in the bud. I am connected, kind of, to a real bad guy."

Another deep breath and she swallowed, "I go by Lexi Graves but the name on my birth certificate is Alexandra Josephina Luthor." Lexi let that hang in the air for a moment. "Daddy and I don't get along; last time I saw him was the day before he sent somebody to kill me. And this might freak you all out but since I know he'll try to use this against me, us, I figured I'd take that weapon out of his hands."

She shrugged, "Sorry, I guess." She rose up onto her feet, "I'll step outside if you guys want to talk about that and change the plan or anything. No hard feelings if you do, promise."

Dick looked at the others gauging their thoughts and facial expressions as Lexi gave her secret away; he was pretty proud of her and hadn’t really expected her to say any thing until after the mission. He supposed it was for the best but he disapproved slightly still, either way they needed her powers and so if any one took offense to this they might refuse to go on the mission, which would be very worrisome to him.

He was relieved to see most looking hesitantly optimistic, He could tell she made them nervous (she was Lex Luthors daughter! After all) but all in all they seemed to take the news well. Super-man would have been proud of this and even more so of his enemy’s daughter being so brave.

“I trust you” Alex said, causing Dick to snort internally it didn’t take the words greatest detective to see that he was clearly in love with her or at least cared about her a great deal. It was interesting giving his back-story that he would have fallen so hard for her daughter but love was love.

“I’ll be watching you” Roy said exchanging a look with Donna “So far you have proven your intentions are just but with Lex Luthor you can never be to safe” He said glancing at her and giving a small smile.

“He doesn’t trust any one don’t worry” Wally said looking at her “you don’t have to leave you’re a member of the justice league and you’re the only corps person we have” He said giving her a soft gentle smile “just don’t shave your beautiful hair bald and start cackling maliciously”

“I think what every one is saying is that they are okay with his” Dick said seeing the others nod and sighing in relief “For now we trust you but when the justice league get back I suggest me and you talk to the council privately about this” Dick said getting up “just to be on the safe side” he said.

“Since that’s it I think it’s time to go” Dick said looking at the others “we have waited long enough for this it’s time to go get our mentors back and bring the League home were going to take a jet out to the anomaly so every one grab your supplies and meet up in the loading bay in five minutes” He explained before turning to Kara “can I see you privately?” he asked gesturing for her to walk with him to the jet, he was already equipped and ready to go and he wanted to use this time to see how the young Kryptonian was fitting in since her fight, he knew how scary a first fight could be and even though she had finally decided on a costume (a very very sexy one he was trying to ignore) he wanted to get a feel of where she was on the hero thing.

Now when Batman found out, he would have a cow that Lex Luthor's daughter had been on the Watchtower without being vetted first, but Dick would be the one who had to deal with that unpleasant confrontation.

Kara nodded a bit meekly at Robin's request and floated out of her seat and over to where the Teen Wonder was walking out of the room ahead of the others. He wanted to talk to her! Was she in trouble? Had he decided she was too...what was the word the humans used? It was a color. Too purple for the mission? No, that wasn't right.

“That went well” Alex said coming over to her and smiling, she could tell how nervous the super heroine had been to tell any one and he was glad every one was so nice to her about it. The others nodded at her and some even warmly clapped her back before they disappeared and went to go get ready.

“Do you need any thing before we go?” Alex asked looking at her curiously “does the ring need to recharge or some thing?” he asked vaguely remembering Green Lantern needing to do some thing like that.

“All my arrows are already packed” Roy said walking with Wally and Donna “we should go get the ship prepped” He said grabbing the duffel bag he put next to the meeting room door and throwing it over his shoulders, inside was enough fire power weaponry explosives to handle any thing that they would encounter. He had also packed all of Green Arrows arrows just in case he was all out of them when they got there.

“I’m ready to go to” Wally said smiling nervously “I’ll go do pre flight checks” he said before zipping off and leaving the sort of couple in the dust.

“Are you ready for this?” Roy asked taking her hand and looking at his lover, his confident easy going smile dropped off replaced with a nervous and concerned look at her “no telling what we might find on the other side”

I know he's a grown man now and, like, one of the most powerful beings in the universe, but he's still my baby cousin." She shook her head and rubbed her hands together, "What if we go through and he's hurt? Or worse?"

Alex laughed shaking his head and smirking at his lover “you are insatiable aren’t you” Alex teased reaching over to smack her ass lightly. He walked over to the ship thinking about her offer, even though he had no intention of joining a team (or being a hero for that matter) since he was along for the ride he at least wanted to remain as professional as he could be.

The young speedster was running diagnostics going around the cockpit and getting the pre flight checklist up and running. Roy rolled his eyes at his best friends forgetfulness and sat down in the chair nearest to weapons. He placed the duffel bag down and settled in waiting for the rest of the team to get inside.

“I know your whole story” Dick explained walking into the elevator and pressing the button for the hanger. Dick hadn’t been there when Kara was recovered but Batman had been, he went over the files afterwards of course studying them. When a new super powered teen came to earth Dick tried to stay in the loop just in case they needed his help.

“I researched you when you came to earth” Dick explained looking at her and smiling “not for the same reasons Batman did but because I’m the teenager who has been a super hero the longest and unlike Batman I like to make sure people adjust ot this kind of life as easily as possible”

“You have a knack for it Kara” Dick said placing his hands on her shoulder blades and starring into her eyes “I know your in a strange world with powers you never dreamed of having but you are like Kal and you are warm, you have a desire to help people I’ve seen that combat and fighting all that will come later with training all you need to have is the will to want to put good into the world”

The elevator beeped and opened revealing the hanger, Dick gave her one last squeeze and turned patting her hand and walking over to the air ship. He stopped starring at it for a few seconds a host of emotions going through his body; the battle with Darksied had been chaotic more of a spur of the moment thing then a true first team run. This was his “teams” maiden voyage where they would even fly.

He stepped in nodding at every one and going to the controls. He sat just as Wally took the seat next to him nodding and giving him the thumbs up. Every thing was ready to go and between Dick and Wally they would have enough experience to get the plan to the rift.

Kara wiggled awkwardly in her seat in the ship they'd all filed into. Her talk with Robin made her feel like she was flying. She felt...she felt like when she talked to Kal these days. Confident and sure, lifted and buoyed. Inspired.

Donna looked back from one of the two pilot's seats, "We're off, everyone." The controls weren't too different from the Invisible Jet and she could actually SEE them, which helped. "Hold on!"

There was a thrum from the back of the Javelin and the vessel shuddered as power surged into the engines and a blast of raw kinetic fury belched from the rear thrusters. The ship fired from its' moorings like an arrow from a bow (Green Arrow had helped design the launch bay) and the hanger doors opened wide and let the shining silver craft launch out into the void.

Starfire sighed, "It's never the same as feeling the void on your skin."

"That is the point, Kor'iander," Raven added dryly. Then she flushed and pulled her hood down further to hide her face. Had she just made a joke?

Lexi had been taking deep breaths as she ship angled out away from Earth; the blue, green, and brown orb gleaming in the endless dark of outer space. "All right, everyone...it's my turn but I'll need your help." She unbuckled the seatbelt holding her to the chair and stepped out into the aisle. "I need you all to think of the people missing, the ones close to you. You guys in particular, I need you to let go of normal "guy stuff" and let yourself feel your emotions. Let them fill you; your minds, your hearts."

She raised her right hand and the violet ring glowed brightly and started to go brighter still. The light slid through the cabin and into the systems and hardware of the Javelin until it crawled over the full and wrapped the whole ship in shining violet radiance.

A voice spoke, unheard by any of the others up until now, the voice of the Star Sapphire ring. "Familial love detected. Platonic love detected. Romantic love detected. Power level 100%. 101%. 103%."

"Ring," Lexi said, "Love is in danger. Find the source and take us there."

"Power level 107%. Familiar love is in danger. Platonic love is in danger." The light in the cabin and around the ship flashed and grew into a searing light that burned in the sky. Below on Earth, people looked up and gaped at the purple light blazing above.

"Take us there," Lexi said again.

The violet light bent and twisted into shape; a many petaled blossom that flowered in the nowhere of the void and then folded in on the ship. There was a lurch inside, as if there was a sudden acceleration and deceleration and a sense of rapid movement; all of it was gone in a moment and the petals of light peeled away from the ship and fell away, flickering and vanishing. "Power level 32%."

The silver ship hung in space above a strange world in a dark blackness that had no lights in it. There were no other planets, no stars, nothing other than the orange-red planet below them.

Lexi exhaled. "...Really glad that worked. Well, guys and gals, this is it."

“I still can’t believe that worked” Dick murmured looking down at the orange/red planet below him; it looked like a simple normal planet not dangerous or any thing. This was the planet his mentor was on? This was where Darksied had taken them? It didn’t look like any thing special, didn’t look at all like the horrors he had imagined. Dick had more questions that answers but he knew Darksied wouldn’t have sent them here if it weren’t dangerous in some way.

“Okay” Dick said getting out of his own seat next to Donna and turning to look at his team “how about we start with simple info any one got any readings at all? Any thing to add?” He asked turning to the people situated at the various op centers scattered about the ship.

“According to the ships astro logs” Roy said speaking up from one of the consoles “which the various Green Lanterns them selves have updated from the OA databases we aren’t any where….. There is supposed to be nothing where we are it doesn’t exist”

“Of course it doesn’t” Dick murmured before turning to Jaime “What about you blue I know the Scarab is supposed to be alien tech does it have any thing?”

“I wouldn’t say it has any thing exact ese” Jaime murmured cocking his head and listening in to the powerful AI in his head “According to my er it’s sensors we slipped into a pocket dimension the planet below us is the only thing that exists in the dimension it’s inhabitable and according to my readings it has signs of civilization”

“Okay so possible hostiles” Dick said resisting the urge to pinch his nose; they couldn’t have just sent them to some empty world could they? Maybe this was some kind of prison? Set up just for the super hero’s? The league and Batman’s information was small about Darksied at best and he could possibly have that kind of technology.

“Okay Raven your up” Dick said turning to his new lover and smiling “got any thing mystical wise before we go down there?” He asked curiously before turning back over to Lexi “or any thing on your ring?”

Raven had kept her eyes closed as the ship made its' teleport and re-materialization; reaching out with her senses as best she could as they arrived. Her lips quivered and fell into a pained grimace and then flattened out and her expression became serene once more. "I sense emotions down below. There are so many...but most clearly, I sense fear, pain, worry, and frustration. There...is death. I can feel emotions and minds vanishing, that perfect bliss or utter horror, but then...instead of fading; it is replaced in mere moments with frustration, determination...so many emotions!"

She wavered in her seat and almost fainted but Starfire took hold of her, the luscious alien looking at her friend with concern. "Raven, are you all right?"

She nodded slowly. "Y...yes. I opened myself too much. I can feel presences I am familiar with there. Heroes and villains alike...and I felt a few die...and then they were back. I do not understand."

Lexi shook her head, "Man, I so do not envy you, girl." She raised her right hand and her ring glowed faintly. "My ring says that there's a total of 40, 000 people down there on that planet but they're not all from it, not even the majority of them. I'd bet that old Cragface has put a few different groups on this rock to get them out of his way. Or maybe they just accidentally found it somehow. There's ring wielders too; two Green Lanterns, a Red Lantern, and a Sinestro Corps member."

Donna looked over at Dick, "We probably won't be able to get much more until we get closer. I think we should dip into the atmosphere and see if we can't find any of our friends or at least a safe place to land so we can start looking."

“Right” Dick said turning to Donna and giving her a small flash of a smile, she was always the clear headed one of the group the one who kept them all on course. He might have argued with her that she would make the better leader than him but he knew she wouldn’t stand for that. She had faith in him and trusted him and wouldn’t let him back down from the leadership position. This “Team” or whatever it was would need the both of them in order to get through this gauntlet.

Dick just hoped he was ready to lead them

The shipped dipped down to the planet softly vibrating as it entered orbit, every super hero’s combined knowledge and tech had gone into creating their ships and every thing was top of the line. They entered low orbit with out any problems and hung over what where Lexi felt the green lantern ring wielders.

“Okay” Dick said turning in his chair and activating the holo map built into the middle of the bridge “let’s see what we got” He murmured.

Images began springing into existence growing as the map came online and began feeding what the external camera was seeing, a small village became a large one rough streets became more modern and a town became a city full of towering buildings and large sky scraper like monuments.

“Wait” Dick murmured getting up and leaning in to study this “Is it just me or does this look…… Nordic?”

“Hang on Ese” Jaime said as the scarab fed him new information “The scarab is telling me that this place bears a very significant likeness to the nords traditional view of Valhalla”

“Wait” Roy snorted folding his arms and raising an eye brow “you’re trying to tell me Darksied sent earths entire super hero and villain community to paradise?”

"Doubtful," Raven answered. The soft spoken mystic shook her head, "Valhalla is a kind of paradise but it is one many of our friends and mentors would take little comfort in. According to legend, those in Valhalla would do battle to the death every day only to rise again at night and feast in the halls." An endless cycle of completely pointless violence would be a horror for most of the abducted heroes; while many enjoyed violence, it was a means to an end. Violence in a place like Valhalla had no point, accomplished nothing. "Some would see it as hell."

Lexi shrugged, "Yeah, but even with that, there's no way Slateface would send them to anything that could be a paradise. It might be based on Valhalla or whatever, but I bet it's not really that place."

"If such a place exists at all," Raven added.

Starfire nodded, "I think they will be proven right. This may be cloaked as a paradise of this Earth culture but it will not be."

A light came up on the ship's console. "We'll find out in a minute," Donna said. "There's a large enough place to land up ahead. It's time to set down and get the lay of the land."

Kara fidgeted and then stood up suddenly. She had not unbuckled the straps on her seat, simply snapping them with a loud "ping!" as the metal buckles broke like cheap plastic. "I think I should fly alongside as we come in, just to keep an eye out in case there's trouble."

Starfire smiled and unstrapped herself, "I will too. Star Sapphire?"

"Sure! If nothing else, anyone there will see that we come bearing hotness," she quipped.

The three girls went to the airlock at the back of the craft and stepped into it; allowing the inner door to close before cycling it. The outer hatch opened and the pressure differential yanked them out into the air; each of them moving with it and breaking into flight. Lexi, glowing violet aura flickering around her, swung under the ship to take up an escort position on the left. Starfire rose to take position above it, while Supergirl shot ahead on the right, making sure to stay close enough to put herself between the Javelin and harm if need be.

Dick watched them go frowning slightly, they had made a decision with out consulting him and as a leader he should have made the escort call. Dick couldn’t help but feel Batman’s voice nagging in his head chiding him for not taking the reigns and making sure they knew who was in charge. It’s how Batman would have done it, his mentor took command and people let him because of the all-empowering reputation he commanded. Dick wasn’t Batman though and his “team” and him were still new.

So should it really bother him?

He decided not to let it bother him and instead focused on watching their surroundings, the cities they had spied from orbit were dotted around a thick cast jungle. There was one in the distance, the one were Lexi had felt the green lanterns energy signature at. It was the larger of the cities dominating the skyline as they sunk into the forest close to it. They found a large clearing and the ship nestled onto the ground with a faint thud hissing slightly as the ship settled in form orbit.

“Okay” Dick said turning to the members still inside the ship “First thing first code names from now on second thing we secure the ship and hide it so no one takes our ride home” he said getting out of his seat and turning to Roy “Red Arrow you, Wonder Girl, and Megawatt sweep the perimeter make sure no one is around Blue” he said turning to the new comer “get the Javelins camouflage system up and running before meeting us outside Raven go ahead and use your magic to prevent any one from finding the clearing but be careful we don’t know how your magic is affected here”

Dick stepped out of his seat and turned walking out and opening the ramp, it gave a slight hiss and opened slowly lowering down onto the ground. He saw the girls waiting for him and stepped out nodding at them before watching the others stepping into the clearing.

“Starfire and Lexi” Dick said turning to them “Arial recon of the perimeter around us stealth flying make sure no one sees you” he said before turning to Super-girl.

“Super-girl you our with me” Dick said smiling at her “consider me your handler when the other leave I’ll explain what we will be doing”

Robin was cool. It was amazing how he took charge of the situation, knowing exactly what needed to be done and sending them all into motion. Even more so was how the others immediately followed his lead; they were all beings with far greater personal power (except Arsenal) but they trusted his judgment without question and went with his plans. He was so calm and collected, in charge and in control.

It made Kara like him, want him, even more. Her own life over the last few weeks...centuries...whatever! Anyway, it was so chaotic that she found his leadership ability as a draw, making him even more attractive. Supergirl floated down to stand next to him as the others all rushed off on their various assignments.

Raven did not fly away but instead floated through the air until she found the exact center of the clear space they were in. She closed her eyes and sat down in a yoga-style position; reaching out with her mystic senses to feel how magic and psychic energy worked here and centering herself within it before putting up the perception screen to hide them all.

Kara fidgeted with the edge of her cape as she waited for the others to report, or for Robin to fill her in on what they were doing. "So," she said, more to just have some conversation than any other reason, "you're my handler. I'm not sure what that means on Earth, but on Krypton...well, I'd probably let you handle me, actually," she added with a wink. "I'm sorry, I don't want to make things, um, never mind."

He would probably be mortified if he knew that her super senses had let her see and hear everything he had Raven had done last night.

"So! What are we doing, Robin?"

Dick snorted a little, her comment about handling her sent a bolt of excitement through him. She was attractive (very much so) and Dick could just imagine spending a few hours rolling around with her in bed. He felt the emotions run through him and he winced realizing Raven would have probably felt it, he felt the guilt course through his body and he turned shooting her a sorry smile before turning back to Kara.

“First were going to make the area secured” Dick said nodding at her “the team has already done this kind of thing before so it should only take them a few minutes to finish their duties”

Sure enough seconds later a large whistle sound sounded off through the trees, followed by another from ahead.

“The reason there whistling is because our communicators aren’t working” Dick explained tapping their ears “were in another dimension so the communication tech that we use can’t reach us” He explained before nodding at Raven “when she is done with her magic then she can leak us telepathically but until then we use bird calls to signal”

“Teaching the new kid the ropes?” Kid Flash asked zipping out of the jet and clapping Dick on the back “I would gladly teach her some moves” he said waggling his eyebrows as if they were in a old movie.

Dick felt a surge of jealously go through him and he frowned, what was with him? This girl was making him possessive which he wasn’t even like around Raven.

“I got it” Dick said turning to him and Khaldur “I want you two to start pulling out the spare equipment we brought”

Khaldur nodded and dragged Kid Flash back into the ship just as it disappeared from sight the high tech mirrors replicating the surroundings.

“The others will be back soon and we can make a plan” Dick explained walking a few feet away from the clearing and turning to her “which gives me just enough time to teach you some basic fighting skills I read your file and I noticed you haven’t had much training in fighting since this is technically a battle zone I would feel bad for not giving you some kind of training just some quick training”

She grinned back at Kid Flash as he joked about "showing her some moves." She liked him, but not that way. It wasn't that he wasn't cute, he sure was, and that ass of his was great! But that just...wasn't the right vibe. When they'd been almost naked together in the Watchtower's laundry room, he could have made a play but didn't. She got an almost brotherly feeling from him and she liked that too.

But he went off at Robin's order, or was dragged off by Aqualad. She waved after them, "Uh, bye."

The Teen Wonder's idea to train her seemed a little silly. She raised an eyebrow, "Well, I mean, I guess I could learn some things...but I don't see the point. I've got ridiculous strength and speed and I'm almost invulnerable. Do I really need to know how to fight?"

She could almost hear Kal in the back of her mind. One of the many things he'd talked to her about was that as strong as she would become, she was still vulnerable. There were beings out there almost as strong and a few even more powerful, and even then, their powers had limits. Her eyes slid over to where Raven was meditating and feeling out the flow of magic on this world. Magic; Kal had said their powers were far less effective against it.

Kara shook her head, "You know, forget I said that. That was old Krypton Kara talking...I can kind of be a bitch sometimes, you know? If you think I should know, then okay." She smiled at him, "I mean, you're Robin. I know that Kal thinks you're one of the best heroes out there, so I should listen to you. You know what you're doing."

She spread her arms wide, "So...uh, we can begin whenever you're ready. ...Should I call you "Master Robin?" Or "Sifu" Robin? Or "Robin-sensei" or anything?"

It was time for the first lesson a super hero needed to know

She had apologized of course and he could tell she really meant it but Dick knew the lesson hadn’t really stuck yet. When the Teen Titans formed Batman put them all through a grueling training session to make sure they were ready. One of his first lessons had been teaching the super powered individuals that just because they had powers did not mean they were invincible. It was a tough lesson to learn for some of them and it was only after Black Canary and Batman finished beating and handing all of them their asses that they finally learned it.

Kara probably didn’t need to have her ass beat (even though Dick found it a strangely tempting thought) but she did need to learn how to fight or at least well enough to defend her self. People always assumed it was an easy thing to do that you just balled up your first and struck they never realized it was intricate almost like a dance.

But with a little more blood involved

“You don’t need to call me any thing” Dick said smiling at her and stepping into the middle of the clearing, he heard her comment about Kal and inwardly beamed. He and Super-man weren’t exactly….. “friends” (Strange considering he was Bruce’s best friend) but it was nice to know he held him in such high regards.

Batman didn’t know he knew but one of the first official League meetings had been about him. It was back when he was eleven and he had only been robin for about a month or two. The League was also new, only a year old and one night Batman told him they wouldn’t be going on patrol one night and then left with out a word.

Dick was curious and his mother always said it would get the best of him. He managed to hack The Watchtowers cameras through the Batcave and eavesdropped on the meeting.

The meeting on whether or not he would be allowed to be a super hero

It wasn’t that they weren’t nice about it, he hadn’t met most of them yet so it was nice to know they weren’t angry at him. Yet they were angry at Bruce, angry at him for taking him in, for giving him a costume and letting him enter there dangerous world. Dick understood were they were coming from now but back then he had been a little boy who had just lost his parents and to him more people were saying he wasn’t good enough. He wasn’t strong enough wasn’t fast enough to save his parents and now they were saying he wasn’t good enough to protect his adopted fathers back.

He was depressed for weeks

Now he understood why they were worried but he had always held a secret fear that maybe they still didn’t think he was good enough to know Superman told Super girl he was one of the best hero’s out there…….

It meant a lot to him

Dick shook himself from his thoughts and planted his feet on the ground looking at her.

“go ahead and hit me don’t hold back”

"You have to hold back, Kara, always. Even the people here who have powers, who are super tough, we can hurt them. Easily." Her cousin turned to look down at her; Rao, he'd grown into such a tall guy! His eyes were a perfect blue as he looked down and his voice was serious. "We can do a lot of damage without ever meaning to. I fight a lot of powerful enemies and I hit them hard, but I've only ever fully let go, not held back, maybe three times in my life. It's just too risky."

She could hear Kal's voice in her head and she nibbled her lower lip nervously. He'd talked to her about the dangers of her powers and she could tell that there was fear and sadness behind the words. What had he accidentally done in the past?

He'd told her about the times he'd had to fight his friends, with all their lives on the line, and even then, he'd always held back.

"O-okay," she said hesitantly. The blond bombshell took a few deep breaths. She would trust Robin and try to hit him, but not all out. Neither as fast or as hard as she could. Even if she wasn't as strong as Kal, due to just not being exposed to Earth's son as much and the fact that he was just larger and stronger than her.

Kara threw a punch that was as fast as a bullet at the confident young hero, even as her heart leaped into her throat.

Dick could see how nervous the pretty girl was, she threw a punch any ways but Dick could tell that it was nowhere near how strong she could be. He expected her to hold back but she was doing it a little to much. Clark would have already given her a “talk” about the dangers of their godlike strength but with out a proper training she had no idea what was to much.

But Dick could and more importantly would teach her

He waited until the punch was inches from his face (not an easy feat because she could technically kill him) before shooting his hands out. Instead of blocking it however he grabbed it following her momentum and adding his own. Dick pulled her down on the ground rolling with her across the dusty floor. He quickly righted himself and straddled her keeping her on the ground as he pulled out a one of his bird a rangs and placed it just under her chin. This caused him to lean in until they were almost kissing.

“Good punch” Dick said looking into her eyes “but you still held back to much fighting isn’t about power so much as its about finesse and knowing which move to use and which not its like a dance except there is violence at the end”
