There was a jewelry store owner in L.A. who killed several armed robbers over the span of several robberies. All good shootings, Justified.

But the City shut down his business.

You can't be Justified enough.

Similar thing in Albuquerque with a gun store owner.

And no doubt other such incidents sprinkled around the country.

The "City Fathers" seemed to think that they were tempting the robbers, the way gunslingers in the old west used to challenge the local "fastest gun", in order to make their reputation.

So by "blowing away" the armed robber, he could also be blowing away his business.

The City did not close his business down. He did because he found out that gang members were out for revenge. Here's the video:
