Canto 14
by Wolf Larsen
Not from City Hall whorehouses do I pluck my judgments like daisy petals:
And yet methinks I have horny space aliens as friends,
But not to tell of anuses as large as whole afternoons!
And of musical plagues, of mass poetry executions, & sexy philosophies;
Nowhere can I babble for endless minutes to storefront mannequins,
Pointing to each his thunder, rain and wind,
Or say with Ronald Reagan look-alikes if I shall go pornography skating,
By the rivers of orgasms that I in heaven find:
But from your red-green-&-yellow eyes I derive my all-Galactic-knowledge!
And, conStant-electRical-impuLses traveling like lightning through you,
As slaughterhouse monologues and madhouse blues shall together thrive,
If only from vanilla & cherry streetcorners thou wouldst convert everyone to bubblegum religions;
Or where else can I defecate?
Thy end is the beginning of the final commencement of the great ending...

Sonnet XIV
by William Shakespeare
Not from the stars do I my judgment pluck;
And yet methinks I have astronomy,
But not to tell of good or evil luck,
Of plagues, of dearths, or seasons' quality;
Nor can I fortune to brief minutes tell, 5
Pointing to each his thunder, rain and wind,
Or say with princes if it shall go well,
By oft predict that I in heaven find:
But from thine eyes my knowledge I derive,
And, constant stars, in them I read such art 10
As truth and beauty shall together thrive,
If from thyself to store thou wouldst convert;
Or else of thee this I prognosticate:
Thy end is truth's and beauty's doom and date. 14
