What makes you look at a particular Amateur Pic thread?

And if you do look, what makes you comment or like?
  • Is it an intriguing or sexy title?
  • Are you more likely to look if you know the person posting?
  • Apart from maybe gender, are you seeking certain content?
Maybe there’s som other reason.

And if you do take a look…
  • Do you always like or comment to encourage more posts?
  • Do you only like or comment if the pics really do it for you?
  • Are you just there to anonymously look (never comment or like)?
I’ve dipped in and out of Lit over the years. A long time ago I summoned the courage to start my own pic thread, and I really enjoyed the response. So just recently I’ve decided to revisit the idea with a new thread. But guess what - not a single like or comment. Maybe the images are just no good. Maybe I’m not to people’s tastes. But now I’m not sure whether to keep going with it or not. Maybe I’m just not putting my best foot forward in the subject - hence taking the opportunity to ask here what I could be doing different or better.

I was going to attach a poll here, but can’t seem to find the option on my phone. Maybe I’ll edit again later when I’m on my MacBook.

And in case you’re curious about that pic thread if mine…

Here it is

Sites like this are 90% guys. Girls mostly don't care about guys posting their pics. Their phones are overflowing with unsolicited dick pics. They don't care about more. The gay guys are interested but afraid you don't want compliments from other guys.

No doubt you’re right, to some extent.

I read somewhere recently - on here, I think - that 22% on Lit users are women and that the site gets 15,000,000 visits per month. That’s still 3.3M possible post views by women per month. Not that I meant to get all mathematical about this. I was more interested in what motivates people - men or women - to click on a link that shows someone’s amateur pics.

And as I said in the original post, my first shot at this, many moons ago, there were plenty of comments from fellow Lit people - enough to inflate my ego for a minute or two, at least.

I don't think there are many girls that wake up in the morning and decide to post a pic. lol
There is a part of you that knows you wont get it back once you post. In some ways a release and another ways kind of scary
Totally understand that - but the risk/thrill shouldn’t be different for men v women, I wouldn’t have thought.

I'll take a look at a lot of the threads. It takes bravery to post and I try to be encouraging and positive as much as possible. I know the thrill that comes from posting, so I want others to experience it as well.
I think that’s a fantastic attitude to have - sincerely

I just liked them. I admire a nice toned body. But I really only look at female pictures. I guess you should bump them now and again. Plenty of people (M&F) will like them.

Another interesting thread conversation, kudos ‘

Personally , I just happen upon new content in the ampic threads more times then not. I have a few favorites that I like to try and keep up with. As my Lit time marches on I’ve found that my favorites anymore are basically Lit virgins these days . The courage it takes to shine that exhibitionist spot light on ones self is sexy to me. If they have some sort of backstory about themselves and motivation as to why they are here and posting their pictures even better.

I try to put some effort into any comments I post other than omfg your beautiful yadda , yadda , yadda , they get plenty of those comment. My new favorite ampic thread is the strip for likes thread. Also the new AI generation of people who know how to use that technique to create their content.

To the OP , I think here in the Playground 🛝 the river of new posts has a very swift current and the threads not used by the everyday users who post mostly in their own threads or that of the community that they have long standing relationships it’s easy to not be seen , unless you’re a poster in those threads. Just like any other social media platforms there are indeed influencers here to.

If you desire more * fans , for lack of a better word choice at the moment. Might I suggest adding your thread to your profile signature with a hyper link to it. Then mingle more into the core of the Playground very active threads. Even better try posting in some of the Vo , voice threads to increase engagement with the playground regulars that post daily.

@never_enough_au I am not one who frequents the ampics forum, but I tend to visit for one of three reasons:

1. To show a gal friend some love on her thread if I happen to see it. Typically this would only happen if it’s the thread with the most recent new post and it’s showing on the main page.
2. I’ll check out a guy’s thread if I like him on the Playground. Smart, charismatic, and funny? Yeah, I am real curious to see what he looks like too. This would require that he mentions it, though, in my case as I don’t have signatures turned on. But I would recommend putting a link to the thread in your signature. I think most folks have those on.
3. To report catfish, people stealing others photos, and deep fakes. I usually hear about these from other people and head over with my Google Lens at the ready.

Thanks for your considered response. Some fantastic advice in there too.

Such a thoughtful response - thanks.

As a woman who enjoys photos from guys she's enjoyed being intimate with, I personally don't lust after / go looking for pics of random guys - no offence. Your pics are hot, so it's definitely not what you look like that's an issue.
Do I look at pictures of women in Am pics, sometimes yeah! Because I like to see real people as opposed to models and / curated porn all the time. Appreciate this is just me and my experience ☺️

Have you tried Instagram at all? I get a lot more interaction and feedback on there personally and I think you would too with these pics x

Haven’t tried Insta for these kind of pics - you’ve got me wondering about it now though…

I also didn't have my own thread on here until some people requested it, I had been posting in other larger threads (like titty tuesday etc.) for a long while first, then a few DMs suggested I make my own and I saw some other people had their own so thought "why not" I've had the IG for over a year now, you just have to adhere to their guidelines or get *very* creative with how you stylize the content you put out! If you wanted to add me on there, just pop me a message x

I tend to visit the shared thread I created the most. I love banter with my nudity, getting to know people, so I try to foster more talk than most ampic threads when I am around and I create the thread. I will also visit is someone asks, or to show support because they mentioned it. And sometimes a title draws me, usually a bit dark and dorky, like the kind of chick who might keep a lightsaber in her coffin purse, as I think I'd get along with that type, but it usually just old dude pretending to be a hot chick again. I think men are most likely to get the most interaction in shared threads, especially gender neutral shared threads. comments, I try to comment on the men in my thread the most. often the women too, but again, I am actually trying to encourage participation, but men are really good on commenting on the women, so I don't always feel the need. I tend to react to near everything as I wander.

When I am post stalking a woman and see that she's posted in an ampic thread. I'll check out her post. Otherwise, I rarely, if ever, check out any ampic threads...
