it's official... the NDA-scrapping finalised and now all those who were previously bound not to talk can :) They were found to be too restrictive. it affects over 400 staffers who may, or may not, now choose to speak up about trump & his family/business

The settlement voids non-disclosure and non-disparagement agreements included in employment contracts for Trump 2016 staffers, barring the Trump campaign and any third parties from taking any action to enforce the agreements.

The settlement—which also involved the Trump campaign paying $450,000 to resolve the claims—was initially reached in January and preliminarily approved in June, but Wednesday’s order finalizes the agreement, and gives ex-staffers more legal protections after the campaign informed them last year they were no longer bound by the agreements.

just sayin'
Allen Weisselberg, the former chief financial officer for the Trump Organization, reportedly agreed to a $2.4 million severance package that required his silence, as former President Donald Trump continues his legal battle in New York.

On Wednesday, Lisa Rubin, a legal analyst for MSNBC, shared screenshots of the severance package agreed to by Weisselberg that said: "except for acts or testimony directly compelled by subpoena or other lawful process issued by a court of competent jurisdiction, he will not: (1) communicate with, provide information to, or otherwise cooperate in any way with any person or entity, including his counsel or other agents, having or claiming to have any adverse claims against the company."

No one wld have ever felt the expansive need for NDAs going in the way Trump and his close contingent of enablers must have
Remember the pushback when Mango Mussolini first took office and tried to make Secret Service agents (government employees) sign NDAs as a condition of working the Presidential detail?

He was rebuffed, but found a workaround, he promised his personal detail lucrative no-show "security director" jobs at his properties if they'd keep their mouths shut. It seems to have worked, most of the agents were corrupted to the point that they believed they were working for him, not the government.

He couldn't seem to bribe senior military officers that way, though.

Yeah he was able to corrupt the Secret Service pretty thoroughly. very clear that they were prepared to lie for him and scuttle evidence in an attempt shield him from consequences in connection wJan 6
