Wandering in . . .
I've reached the stage where I enjoy the vets for who they are, rather than for what they can do. There are some things that are just beyond them. Hope you find some nice vets, Lynn.
Vets?
Not sure if I'm blonde or just far too tired for that.
Nope. It's not just you.
How ya doing this evening?
Hi!
I'm getting there . . . slowly.
Howdy?
You rang?
I did.
What's happenin', Bard?
The same ole stuff. I'm more busy and despite myself, I feel gloomy. I don't know why.
And my personal life is taking a hit.
It's time for a minor renovation, I think.
Would you like to trade hits? I have this hot little aneurysm that I could be persuaded to part with . . .
How long will the treatment take?
I see a specialist in two weeks. The initial scan indicates the AA is stable, so all we do is monitor it every six months to see if it grows or moves.
Any treatment for why I'm sick now will depend on what the next testing shows. I start with an MRI tomorrow.
There'll be much more tests to follow, I think. Have you been admitted to a hospital?
Nope.
Then I hope that it won't turn out to be something serious.
Do keep us updated on your health.
Thanks.
So you've been reading. Any writing?
Doing a Halloween story 'Silver Linings'. Progress is slow, but I like how the story is turning out to be. The best plot I've thought of in a while, but it won't be completed for this contest if I want it to be perfect and edited. Maybe next Halloween...
Already started working on Winter Holiday story 'Angel in Disguise', which will be at most 4 Lit pages and hope to tweak a major portion in Reminisence to submit it in Winter Holiday.
And since I'm on a roll, I've also plotted a Romance story 'Together Apart' which is mostly Erotic Couplings and Romance. If it fits a contest theme, I'll submit it there.
So that's my inherent ramble at work.
Are you writing something at the moment?
Nice job. I look forward to reading them.
Today I did some editing on a Christmas piece but it needs an ending. I didn't like the first one so I chopped about a thousand words off. So far, nothing fits, though.
I never lose!
