Sandy Hook Families Just Proved Congress Lied to Pass One of the NRA’s Favorite Bills

We aren't doing nothing. Slowly, methodically we are coming to take back our country...and make it truly great. As bill said above....deal with it. Lol

You seem to think that people give a shit about what Alex thinks or says. He's the Rachael Maddow of the far right. Those two ought to get together and compare conspiracies.

No, right wingers believe Alex like they believe Trump, regardless of how many lies they tell.

Just another failed Franzia false equivalency,

Since Parkland, state legislatures have passed 69 new gun restriction laws. We. Led by the children you despise. The sane Americans.

Even Donald jumped on board and did what you said couldn't be done. Chip chip chip.

The sane Americans. LOL.
Pretty soon only the sane Americans will be without guns. After chipping away at the right to defend themselves.
Way to go, sane Americans! Pat yourselves on the back, sane Americans!

911: 911, what is your emergency.
Dribble: There's a man with a gun! He's at the back door yelling and he's shot the dog. He's threatening to kick down the door and kill me.
911: All our officers are busy.
Dribble: Busy! What the fuck!
911: Someone has to pay for free government health care, remember? We had to cut back. An officer will be there in a half hour, forty-five minutes.
Dribble: But this situation is desperate!
911: I understand the gunshot specialist rotates into town next week. They're hard to find since government took over health care. Can you stall that guy with the gun until then.
Dribble: Oh shit! He's broken down the door. What can I do?
911: Defend yourself. But you better not use a gun.

911: Defend yourself. But you better not use a gun.

DRIBBLE: (puts down smartphone on dining room table without deactivating it, gets sharp kitchen knife from kitchen, turns off all lights inside house, waits in hiding for man with gun yelling to stumble into house from back door making his way towards the glow from smartphone, trips him unawares causing the gun to fumble away, while plunging the knife repeatedly into the back of the man's legs, severing tendons and meat, crippling him and neutralizing him in pain, then follows up with several more stabs to the man's arms for good measure, sitting on him as he bleeds out while waiting for authorities to show.

Heroic actions in the line of self-defense while complying with the law cause Dribble to become a minor news sensation, subsequently getting him invited on Ellen, where he is gifted a brand new doggo to raise)

Anyone wondering, as I am, where the "lie" comes in?

As an observation, any thread or article that claims the 'truth' or 'proves' usually does anything but 'prove' or tell the 'truth.'

re. "Military Style Weapons" Virtually every weapon ever conceived by man once we got past the sticks and stones age began its life as a military weapon. The AR 15 is no more a military weapon than the off the shelf Remington 870 shotgun. And as a matter of absolute fact the 870 IS purchased and used by the military......the AR is not. The 870 has a military designation, the AR does not.

Better hope you don't miss AND land a CNS/heart shot.

See...there is something about a one ounce deer slug. Hit a leg....it comes off. Hit a arm...gone. Torso...it isn't pretty. But hey...I thought you knew that:rolleyes:

I see you haven't shot many people, much less armed ones in the dark.

If you don't get them in the heart/CNS? They don't just drop/stop. 1 shot that isn't a heart/CNS hit? Is rarely enough to put someone down until you get to some heavy cal shit you're not wheeling around in a house or operating defensively.

If they are armed? That's going to be a serious fucking problem for you very very very quickly, much faster than you are likely able to reload.

This is why follow up shots are so important in an armed confrontation of any sort.

Even with 12ga slugs or .458 SOCOM ;)

The 12ga can be a perfectly viable home defense weapon, or even an offensive weapon properly outfitted. But a single shot with slugs is NOT a good choice.

The team assigned to take out the guard barracks at Son Tay consisted of 4 men. 2 shooters and 2 backup. The shooters were armed with 870's, 16" barrels, extended tube magazines (8 rnds per gun) and duckbills loaded with #4 Buck. They ran out of guards before they ran out of ammo.

The scenario provided outlined I have only one I would be dealing with...and they have the intelligence of botanyboy. He has never seen what a slug will do up close. It will drop him, giving me plenty of time to put in a second shot. If I want....I can use that shot....or not...depending on whether he wants to live. His choice. Not mine.

100%....love shotties.

But for any sort of armed confrontation, I want at least a 2nd shot, preferably 8-50 of them, the more the merrier. :D

I want all the EXTENDOZZZ!!!

If that's the case you're in for a rough ride cowboy because if they were me they'ed have at least 8 other operators with P90's and M4's running high expansion .458, Full IR and ANPVS-14's, Det cord and flash bangs.

You'd be deaf and shitting your whitey tighties before you ever make it to your single shot bullshit. :D

LOL the last asshole who shot me was dumb enough to think that way too....and he had an RPG.

The ammo limitation and reload time can be a problem. However, a well honed pump will operate just as fast as an auto loader.

AND

I do believe the reload problem is solved. :)

Bet you said that about gay marriage too.

I don't care if gays get married or not.

The amazing thing about our Constitution...it is a living document. Fact...as these kids grow up...their views will not be yours...and change will happen. Sucks huh? Deal with it. Learn to live with it. Lol

You can live on speculation if it helps you sleep at night and puts a smile on your face, but the opinions on guns in the US have been divided for a long time and guns just keep getting bigger and deadlier and now there is more of them. You can't hide from reality. :D

Yea those things are nice.

I plan on picking up a few choice pieces after leaving CA, it's deff a front runner for shotgun options. Though there was an autoloader from Italy that was really nice looking too I might just have to get both.

. .and that he hasn't brought a friend.

Another possibility where quick follow up shots are important.

50/50 chance there. If it's personal then it's likely to be only one home invader. If it's for the loot there's going to be two or more.

If it's personal and bigger than that, like a contractor or cartel squad or SWAT team?? Well you knew that was coming and if you didn't you're dumb enough to probably deserve what you got.

If it's the one I'm thinking of, save your money. A friend of mine that's a righteous 3 gunner got one. Runs fine until the slightest amount of dirt is involved, then it quits. The tolerances are just too damn close. He's back to his Mossy 500 now.

The reason the military and the cops use pumps is that you can clear a squib/misfire right now. Not so with an auto-loader.

Yea I've heard...and Zday? Communist Revolution time?? I'll be going for the 500 myself just because I'm so familiar and it's as you said, functional and durable.

I was planning on shooting clay with the Mediterranean lady mostly, on a lawn with an Arnold Palmer and a stogie.

Might even sell the rice rocket and get a Nova or Falcon....not sure which yet.

But I want a big block fun and a system that plays ZZ Top and Johnny Cash real real loud.

The Mossy is a good gun, but I still buy 870's. Look at the field strip vids and you'll know why. It's worth the extra $$ to me.

I always wanted to get my hands on a '66 Fairlane Thunderbolt.

Yea, I've seen them and a lot of very good reviews, and likely the next practical shotgun...still want that pretty ass pasta launcher though. :D
Benelli-ETHOS-Shotgun.jpg

Yea the Fairlanes are pretty cool too....I got a neighbor with a cream/yellow one, resto mod, that's what's got me hard for some classic M'arica. Sounds soooooo good.

I can't bite his style though....and Mopar is just too pricey for something I might mack into a wall at the strip anyhow.

Guess it depends on what's available when I get my garage all set up and settled in....I think either platform will make for a fun muscle project.
