Well good for ole Bernie (quite literally on all counts there).

My interest is in exactly where that money is coming from. I find it more than puzzling that the democrats are getting a lot of funds from whale donors. Hollywood is a given and makes sense given those individuals peculiar mental proclivities, but a ton of that money is coming from Wall St. and Silicon Valley. And the money from those last two is somewhat contradictory when you consider that virtually all of the announced candidates are Socialists (and that's putting it kindly). Are those people actually donating all that money in opposition to their own self interests? Or is there a duality in play here? What the candidates say in public and what they're telling their donors? Who's being played as the fool, the donors or the public?

Regardless we'll have a partial answer when the donor lists are made public.
